The US Army has suspended the helicopter crews involved in a recent incident near Kid Rock’s residence. The decision follows an investigation into a video the singer shared, which shows an Apache attack helicopter flying in close proximity to his Nashville home as he offers a salute.
In his Instagram post accompanying the video, Kid Rock commented, “This is a level of respect that some politicians, like the Governor of California, will never understand.” He also expressed his patriotism by saying, “God Bless America and all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to defend her.”
The Army acknowledged the investigation yesterday, and today, they confirmed the suspension of the crews involved, pending the outcome of the inquiry.

The US Army confirmed an investigation was taking place yesterday.
And today the crews were suspended from duty as the investigation takes place.
“Fort Campbell leadership is aware of a video circulating on social media depicting AH-64 Apache helicopters operating in the vicinity of a private residence associated with Mr. Robert Ritchie (also known as ‘Kid Rock’),” a statement read.
“The command has initiated an investigation to review the circumstances surrounding this activity.”
The Army is also being asked about why military helicopters flew low over a crowd of anti-Trump protesters that same day.
“Our pilots do regularly fly routes outside the Fort Campbell area,” the Army spokesperson said.
“We just don’t know if it was incidental or if it was deliberate.”
