Education Minister Jason Clare expressed his disbelief, stating, “The occurrence of these rallies or protests is simply unimaginable.”

Victoria Police have announced plans for a substantial deployment within the city, emphasizing a zero-tolerance approach to any illegal activities.

NSW Police have also issued warnings to those planning to attend unauthorised gatherings this weekend in Sydney.

“Fifteen lives have been lost, with others still hospitalized and many more injured. At this moment, our nation needs compassion, not animosity or protests,” Clare remarked.

Clare also conveyed his expectations that the Victorian authorities would take all necessary actions to prevent these protests from occurring.

He added, “Any sensible Australian would understand that this is entirely inappropriate and should never take place.”

“I sincerely hope it never comes to pass,” he concluded.

Former federal treasurer and prominent Jewish Victorian Josh Frydenberg has voiced his displeasure with the rally, saying it is unthinkable that the government would not intervene.
