Volusia Detectives Search for Suspect in Co-Worker Shooting Incident

    VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – The Volusia Sheriff’s Office announced on Wednesday that they are searching for a man accused of shooting his co-worker in the neck last week.

    Augustin Hernandez Gonzalez, 45, has a warrant for attempted homicide in Friday’s shooting out of Pierson, the sheriff’s office said on social media.

    According to the post, Gonzalez is identifiable by a noticeable limp and two distinctive tattoos: a skull on his right hand and the Virgin Mary on his upper left triceps. He is known to frequent the Pierson, Crescent City, and Seville areas, as stated by the sheriff’s office.

    Anyone who sees Gonzalez or knows of his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or to contact Detective Forster by emailing CForster@volusiasheriff.gov.
