Kaitlyn Bristowe revealed she got ‘a little addicted’ to painkillers while recovering from her recent boob job.

The former Bachelor contestant, now 40, made a surprising revelation about her breast augmentation surgery, performed earlier this year, during her Instagram Stories on Thursday.

She advised, ‘Ensure someone is there to care for you post-surgery. I assumed I’d manage on my own and ended up neglecting my medication schedule, leading to a brief dependency on pain medication. It was quite frightening,’ she confided to a follower who had asked a question during the live Q&A she was hosting.

The reality TV personality also advised her fans to ‘make sure you trust your Dr and give him a pic to look at while he does them.’

Following the procedure, she cautioned her followers from going online while under the influence of pain medication.

‘Don’t do any social media, make decisions or shop,’ she added before sharing another personal story about her recovery.

The Bachelor alum, 40, confessed while talking about her breast augmentation surgery earlier this year

‘I couldn’t stop shopping and I barely remember,’ she admitted.

She recently revealed she had a boob job in May as she shared a video of herself telling her family and joking about the surgery.

In the social media clip, she called her family members on FaceTime and showed them fake sonograms of her breasts.

Alongside the video, she joked in her caption: ‘Telling friends and family I got twins.’ 

She humorously mentioned no longer being a core member of the small bust club, stating, ‘IBTC members, I may not be the CEO any longer, but I’m still part of the group.’

Back in 2021, she shared some of the work she has gotten done in response to speculation about her changing looks. 

She told her social media followers that she had undergone several cosmetic procedures over the years.

‘Avoid social media, big decisions, or shopping,’ she cautioned before recounting more of her recovery. ‘I went on a shopping spree that I can barely recall,’ she confessed.

Addressing a comment from a critic, she said, ‘It’s been six years since the show—I’ve had a brow lift, brow microblading, teeth bonding, some lip filler, embraced aging, experimented with darker hair, and finally mastered contouring.’

‘Oh and I put on some weight,’ she added. 

She also clarified that she ‘didn’t go under the knife’ for her brow lift. 

‘No, I just got Botox to lift the brows,’ she explained to her followers. 

Bristowe first appeared as a contestant on the 19th season of The Bachelor. 

She also appeared on season 11 of The Bachelorette in 2015 and got engaged to Shawn Booth in the finale episode.
