The highly anticipated Actor Awards nominations have been unveiled, spotlighting performances from Sterling K. Brown, Martin Short, Michelle Williams, and other notable talents. The Walt Disney Company stands out with a strong presence among the nominees.
Known previously as the SAG-AFTRA Awards, these annual accolades celebrate exceptional achievements in both film and television.
Janelle James, famed for her role in “Abbott Elementary,” teamed up with Connor Storrie from “Heated Rivalry” to announce the list of nominees for these prestigious film and television awards, organized by SAG-AFTRA.
In television, the hit series “Only Murders in the Building” is in the spotlight, securing a nomination for outstanding performance by an ensemble in a comedy series. Star Martin Short also received a nomination for his role as a male actor in a comedy series.
Joining him in this category is Adam Brody, recognized for his role in “Nobody Wants This.”
The comedy ensemble category also recognized “Abbott Elementary” and “The Bear.”
Among the leading stars, Michelle Williams received a nomination for outstanding performance by a female actor in a television movie or limited series for her role as Molly in FX’s “Dying for Sex.”
Sterling K. Brown earned recognition with a nod for outstanding performance by a male actor in a drama series for his portrayal of Agent Xavier Collins in the hit series “Paradise.”
