Dem leaders' outrageous rhetoric continues to stoke anti-ICE violence

In the current political climate, it seems Democratic leaders are inadvertently encouraging an alarming rise in political violence across America.

According to a recent report from the Department of Homeland Security, death threats against ICE officers have surged by a staggering 8,000% in fiscal year 2025. Some extremists have even placed bounties on the agents’ heads, further escalating tensions.

“Our officers are facing an unprecedented wave of violence,” stated DHS spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin. She highlighted a disturbing increase in threats, including plans to harm agents and their families, coupled with incidents of stalking and online exposure of personal information.

In one chilling incident, an anonymous caller threatened the spouse of a Texas ICE agent, ominously stating, “Did you hear what happened to the Nazis after World War II? It’s what’s going to happen to your family.”

It’s not just fringe individuals behind these threats; notable Democrats, including Governors JB Pritzker of Illinois, Gavin Newsom of California, and Tim Walz of Minnesota, along with Mayors Michelle Wu of Boston and Brandon Johnson of Chicago, have frequently criticized federal officers, labeling them with terms like “fascists,” “secret police,” “Nazis,” “thugs,” “vigilantes,” “authoritarians,” “Gestapo” members, “slave patrols,” and “kidnappers.”

While Democrats may use this inflammatory language to rally their supporters, it also has the unintended consequence of inciting violence from those who believe they are defending the nation.

In just the last month or two, a sniper opened fire on an ICE facility in Texas, killing two people; 10 goons were nabbed for physically attacking law-enforcement officers at Los Angeles anti-ICE “protests”; shooters injured two cops and a Border Patrol agent in another Texas attack.

Nor is it confined to immigration agents: Tyler Robinson, 22, is accused of slaying Turning Point founder Charlie Kirk for publicly expressing conservative views.

How many more will be hurt or killed before the ugly rhetoric ends?

Responsible officials would speak out against such behavior, not fuel it.

If Democrats don’t want illegal-immigrant criminals arrested, they need to win elections and change laws, not foment violence.

It’s called “democracy.”

In fact, most Americans, 69%, back such deportations, including 58% of Democrats, so Dem electeds are, in effect, trying to thwart the will of the people through violence.

They were right all along in warning democracy is at risk; they just got it wrong about who’s actually threatening it.
