Bill Maher erupts on far-lefties after string of high-profile attacks

Bill Maher recently criticized far-left liberals, accusing them of fostering what he described as an ‘assassination culture.’ This came after an Emmy-winning comedian labeled Maher himself as a ‘racist.’

At 70, Maher claimed that the far left has cultivated an environment where the idea of assassination is increasingly normalized, pushing the political party toward a crisis.

During his show, Maher referenced Jonathan Rinderknecht, the alleged instigator of the Palisades Fire, who prosecutors claim was influenced by Luigi Mangione, the suspected murderer of the UnitedHealthcare CEO.

“Nice to see the younger generation finding role models,” Maher quipped on his program last Friday.

He further emphasized that today’s political assassins are not like those of the past, noting, “Things have changed. Modern assassins now seem to enjoy support among the youth.”

He humorously suggested that individuals like Luigi Mangione, Cole Thomas Allen, Tyler Robinson, and the symbolic presence of Thomas Crooks should form a boy band called “New Kids on the Glock.”

Cole Thomas Allen allegedly attempted to assassinate President Donald Trump and his staff at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner last month, Tyler Robinson is the suspect in the killing of Charlie Kirk, and Thomas Crooks attempted to assassinate the President in Butler, Pennsylvania.

The HBO star said these would-be assassins were fed up with more than just their opinions of Trump, but also with their own lives.

Bill Maher hit out at the far left for creating an assassination culture and justifying political violence because they’re upset with their lives. ‘Have some perspective, get real,’ he said

‘If you’re doing that much rage thinking about Trump, you’re not really mad at him,’ Maher said. ‘You’re mad at your life. This is about being 31 and still living with your mom in Torrance.’

Maher blamed the younger generation’s phone usage and access to AI for making them sensitive, and said their ‘entitlement’ makes them ‘feel like you have it tougher than anybody ever did.’

‘No wonder you’re always wearing a hoodie in the fetal position,’ he joked.

He went on to say that the younger generations have an ‘easy life,’ with the ability to order sushi or get a weighted blanket ‘delivered in hours.’

‘You can do your banking sitting on the toilet,’ he joked. ‘They sell weed in a store now.

‘Yet you’ve convinced yourself that your current level of discomfort justifies revolutionary violence,’ he continued. ‘Cole Allen’s life only sucked by his own unreasonable standards.

‘He wasn’t on welfare, he was on LinkedIn. For his assassination attempt, he stayed at the Hilton.

‘Gen Z lives are not that bad.’

Maher said no American’s life is truly bad enough to condone assassination attempts or political violence, regardless of age.

Maher brought up the No Kings and anti-ICE protests seen across the country, including the Minneapolis protests where two citizens died. He went on to say that Iran saw similar protests, but 30,000 people died.

‘Have some perspective, get real,’ he lamented. ‘Please, you’re not in Haiti or Afghanistan, you’re at Coachella.

‘Life doesn’t really suck so bad, you’d rather just be a martyr than a nobody.’

However, Maher has been facing his own criticism for his political views, as comedian Wayne Brady recently reignited his feud with the HBO host, calling him a racist.

‘He is racist, and I don’t care,’ Brady said on the America, Who Hurt You podcast earlier this month.

Their feud began after Maher made a joke in 2010 about how he ‘thought that two years [into Obama’s presidency] that I’d be making jokes [about] what a “gangsta” he was.’

‘And not that he’s President Wayne Brady, you know. I thought we were getting Suge Knight,’ Maher said at the time.

Brady hasn’t gotten over the joke and accused Maher of getting laughs at minorities’ expense over the years.

‘He’s not funny anymore to me. It’s vitriolic, because it just encourages the asinine behaviors and reactions in those whose default setting is to be reductive of people,’ he said on the podcast.
