Bob Saget was found dead in his Florida hotel room bed by a housekeeper after he missed his late checkout time, according a new report.
The cleaner made the grim discovery when she entered his room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando at about 4 p.m. on Sunday — an hour after the 65-year-old was due to check out, a source told People.
The “Full House” star’s bags were already packed by the door and the room was neat, the magazine said.
There were reportedly no signs of disturbance or trauma.
After calling 911, the housekeeping manager performed CPR on Saget until paramedics arrived.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Department had earlier revealed that Saget was pronounced dead at the scene.
His official cause of death is yet to be determined, but investigators said they’d found “no signs of foul play or drug use in this case.”
Saget had been staying at the hotel for several days while he performed his stand-up “I Don’t Do Negative Comedy Tour” nearby.
He had performed a show on Saturday night and tweeted a selfie of himself at 3:45 a.m. about how great the set had gone.
“Loved tonight’s show @PV_ConcertHall in Jacksonville. Appreciative audience,” he wrote.
“Thanks again to @RealTimWilkins for opening. I had no idea I did a 2 hr set tonight. I’m happily addicted again to this s–t. Check http://BobSaget.com for my dates in 2022.”
Tributes have poured in from his co-stars and fans in the wake of his shock death.
His family said in a statement they were “devastated.”
“He was everything to us and we want you to know how much he loved his fans, performing live and bringing people from all walks of life together with laughter,” the Saget family said.
“Though we ask for privacy at this time, we invite you to join us in remembering the love and laughter that Bob brought to the world.”
Saget is survived by his second wife Kelly Rizzo and his three adult daughters — Aubrey, Lara and Jennifer — from his first marriage to Sherri Kramer.
