The actress and model was almost unrecognizable when she stepped out during a rare public appearance in Los Angeles earlier this week.
Now 80, she is best known for playing a Bond girl in one of the most celebrated James Bond films of the 1970s.
She also appeared opposite Harrison Ford at the beginning of his rise as a major Hollywood box-office star.
Although she became best known for her film career, the actress first made her mark as a model during the 1960s. She later auditioned unsuccessfully for Charlie’s Angels.
She is also married to one of the most influential rock stars of the 1960s.

The 80-year-old star is best known for playing a Bond girl in one of the most beloved films from the long-running 1970s franchise

She was also a sought-after model before marrying one of the most iconic rock stars of the 1960s. Can you guess who she is?
The star is model and actress Barbara Bach.
Bach achieved her biggest success at that point when she appeared in the 1977 James Bond movie The Spy Who Loved Me.
She is also married to Ringo Starr, the former Beatles drummer.
Our News Outlet has contacted a representative for Starr for comment but has not yet received a response.
Bach looked remarkably youthful in a relaxed, stylish outfit consisting of a black linen jacket, a matching black T-shirt and olive cargo pants.
She concealed her long black hair beneath a black cap and carried a black handbag.
Bach was born Barbara Goldbach in 1946 in Rosedale, Queens.
After shortening her surname, she built a successful modeling career in the 1960s. Her portfolio included covers for Vogue USA, photographed by Richard Avedon, as well as ELLE France and Seventeen.

Bach made the jump to acting in 1968, when she played Nausicaa in an adaptation of Homer’s Odyssey shot for Italian TV, with Franco Rossi directing and Dino de Laurentiis producing.
In the early ’70s, she primarily worked on Italian productions, including comedies, crime thrillers and giallo horror films.
Years before she starred in The Spy Who Loved Me, she appeared in the Italian horror film Black Belly of the Tarantula with fellow Bond girls Claudine Auger – of Thunderball fame – and Barbara Bouchet, who had appeared in the 1967 version of Casino Royale.
Bach’s role as Anya Amasova in The Spy Who Loved Me increased her stature, as the film was praised by fans and critics after a string of divisive Bond films in the late ’60s and ’70s.
A year later, she starred with Harrison Ford and Robert Shaw in the sequel Force 10 from Navarone.
However, even with her high-profile Bond film, Bach continued acting primarily in Italian and European films until the ’80s, and she largely stepped away from the screen by the middle of that decade.
In 1980, she met former Beatle Ringo Starr, and the two were married at Marylebone Town Hall in April 1981.
Bach and Starr later checked into rehab together in 1988 after she had struggled with drug and alcohol use for years, and the two have since remained sober. In 1991, she joined Pattie Boyd, the ex-wife of both George Harrison and his friend Eric Clapton, to co-found the Self Help Addiction Recovery Program (SHARP).
