Photos released by Israel’s Magen David Adom emergency services highlighted widespread devastation in various parts of the nation today.

The scenes depicted vehicles engulfed in flames, smashed cars, and debris scattered, as Israeli bomb disposal units worked at numerous impact locations within the Tel Aviv region.

Israel’s national railway company announced via an online statement that shrapnel had struck platforms at Tel Aviv’s central station, leading to a temporary nationwide suspension of train services.

Later in the morning, the company reported the resumption of most train operations.

The military shared video clips of Home Front Command personnel at a train station, revealing shattered glass on a platform and some train windows damaged.

In a separate statement, the Home Front Command said its search and rescue teams were ‘operating at several sites in central Israel where reports of impacts have been received’.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said in a statement they had launched missiles at central Israel ‘in revenge for the blood of martyr Dr Ali Larijani and his companions’.
