A British man has been found dead in a Bali hostel hours after he asked staff to change rooms.
The tourist’s body was discovered by cleaners in his accommodation in the Badung Regency in Bali.
The 32-year-old Brit had reported feeling unwell the night before and had begged hostel employees to switch rooms.
When he did not come out of his room the following day, a cleaner opened the door and discovered the man lying face down.
Cops said there were no initial signs of violence.
A representative from the Badung Police reported: ‘The witness attempted to tidy the room since the victim had expressed a desire to switch rooms the previous day. This was his own request. The witness knocked on the room wall multiple times without receiving any reply,’ stated the spokesperson from the Badung Police.
‘Suspecting something unwanted had happened in the room, she tried to open the curtain and was shocked to see the victim lying face down.’
The man had been travelling with a group of friends, it is understood.

Daily Mail has approached the Foreign Office for comment.
The tragedy involving the traveller comes after a British tourist drowned while holidaying in Bali last month.
Harrison Nada-Kontounas, 23, was swept out to sea after a rip dragged him away from friends at Bali’s Legian Point at Kuta Beach on September 24.
While his two friends managed to make it back to shore, Mr Nada-Kontounas was caught in the surf, battling strong currents and 30km/h winds.
Lifeguards tried to reach him but missed by just a metre.
While Mr. Nada-Kontounas was still unaccounted for, his friends made a determined effort to locate him using funds collected via a GoFundMe, established after he was reported swept away.
The duo searched the shoreline and water tirelessly for more than 32 hours, also contributing £1,660 towards renting a private helicopter in the absence of an official aerial search operation.
On Friday however, the family of Mr Nada-Kontounas confirmed his body had been found about 3.2km offshore from where he was last seen.

They have since requested privacy and pledged to invest the remaining donation money towards honouring and recovering Mr Nada-Kontounas.
In a statement given to Daily Mail, the family confirmed news of their son’s death in the hours after he was found.
With profound sorrow, we announce that Harrison’s body was found today, about two miles away from the spot he was last witnessed,’ the announcement stated.
Mr Nada-Kontounas’ mum expressed her family’s grief and paid tribute to her ‘gentle, kind and funny’ son.
‘Harrison was one of the most gentle, kind, and funny young men you could ever meet,’ she wrote.
‘He lived his life with joy and openness, treasuring every moment and holding his family and friends as at the very centre of his world.
‘His loyalty was unwavering, his warmth shone through in every interaction, and his generous soul touched all who crossed his path.
‘He had a deep love of football, laughter came easily to him, and he had the rare gift of making others feel instantly at ease.
‘Though Harrison’s life was tragically short, it was abundant in love, light, and companionship. He departed from us far too soon, but his spirit will remain in our hearts forever.’
