Britney Spears has reportedly retreated from the public eye, leaving her family concerned about her well-being.
The iconic pop singer, now 43 years old, has sparked concern among fans after being seen in an unusual state earlier this week. In exclusive footage captured by the Daily Mail, Spears appeared unrecognizable as she departed a Los Angeles wine bar alone. Her face seemed fuller than usual, and she was seen holding a Champagne flute.
In a worrying turn of events, Spears drove away by herself after leaving the bar. Her representatives have assured the Daily Mail that she was not consuming alcohol during her visit.
Currently, Spears’ family is struggling to establish contact with her, heightening their anxiety about her current situation.
A family insider shared with the Daily Mail, “She isn’t responding to texts, ignoring calls, and not even acknowledging direct messages.”
The insider expressed their frustration, stating, “We just want to ensure she’s doing well, that everything in her life is positive, and that she’s taking care of herself. Unfortunately, she seems to be avoiding all communication with us.”

Now, we are told Spears is not responding to her family’s attempts to reach her, leaving loved ones desperate for news
While Spears may not be responding to her family, she did take to Instagram on Wednesday, sharing a series of videos, including one of herself posing in a mirror with a caption that appeared to reference her Tuesday wine bar outing.
‘I could have sworn before I left I didn’t have 6 chins,’ she joked.
But, our sources say, those closest to her aren’t laughing.
‘There are a lot of red flags right now, her behavior is disturbing and we don’t really know what to do next,’ a second family insider said.
‘There’s not much we actually can do, since she’s a grown-ass woman who can make her own decisions, but I worry that she thinks we don’t have her best interests at heart when we really do.’
A third source added: ‘Britney is in no rush to get back to family who have been trying to contact her. They sense that and will likely give her a few days and the weekend before trying to make contact again during the holiday next week.
‘If that doesn’t work, they are going to put in a concerted effort around her birthday [Decemeber 2] to get back in her good graces, or at least let her know that they’re there for her.’
This latest disappearing act follows a string of concerning behavior.
Only weeks ago, Spears was filmed making a toast to diners at a Thousand Oaks restaurant before once again driving off and swerving onto the wrong side of a highway.
Since her infamous conservatorship ended in 2021, Spears has increasingly lived life on her own terms, from sharing topless Instagram posts to erratic dance videos, and even clips of herself twirling knives.
There have even been recent whispers that her Thousand Oaks mansion is regularly covered in dog mess.
‘Her house is a mess. She doesn’t clean up after the dogs, she doesn’t have someone there cleaning every day, and she just isn’t functioning like an adult would function,’ an insider told the Daily Mail in September.
Earlier this week, another insider said: ‘This is very distressing. It’s really a nightmare knowing that things are happening that might put her in danger. There’s absolutely nothing we can do to help her.’
Representatives for Spears did not respond to requests for comment.
