The suspects have employed various methods to break into homes, such as striking a victim’s garage door, creating distractions to allow other burglars to enter unnoticed, and waiting for victims to leave, according to police reports.

In one burglary, the suspects targeted a home while the victims were out of town.

The thieves have stolen items such as firearms, money and valuables.

  • 3600-block of South Maplewood Avenue on Aug. 5 at 4:38 p.m.

  • 4200-block of South California Avenue on Aug. 8 at 3:10 p.m.

  • 2800-block of South Pitney Court on Aug. 9 at 5 p.m.

  • 3300-block of South Seeley Avenue on Aug. 12 at 1:43 p.m.

  • 2600-block of South Shields Avenue on Aug. 14 at 10 p.m.

The suspects are identified as two females and two males, who utilize either a white van or a gray pickup truck, both lacking license plates.

One female suspect is approximately 5-foot-1, weighs 120 pounds, has brown eyes, and short black hair. The other female is around 5-foot-3 with hazel eyes. Among the male suspects, one is typically seen in a gray shirt and blue jeans, while the other sports an American flag ski mask along with a white t-shirt, black pants, and black boots.
