“One Battle After Another,” a frontrunner in the Oscar race, has not only captured the attention of critics but also marked a significant moment for Warner Bros., which is in the midst of being acquired by Netflix. The film’s nominations span across several categories, including performances by its stellar cast—Leonardo DiCaprio, Teyana Taylor, Sean Penn, and Chase Infiniti. Who’s leading in the nominations?
Hot on its heels is Joachim Trier’s “Sentimental Value,” a poignant Norwegian drama centered on a family involved in filmmaking. This Neon release has earned eight nominations, with recognition for its talented ensemble cast, including Stellan Skarsgård, Renate Reinsve, Elle Fanning, and Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas.
