Diane Keaton’s former Los Angeles home in Sullivan Canyon has sold for $18 million, closing 10 months after the Oscar-winning actress died on October 11 at age 79.
Josh Flagg of Compass represented the seller for Keaton’s estate, while Emil Alexander Schneeman of Berkshire Hathaway handled the deal for the unidentified buyer. The sale officially closed Tuesday, according to Realtor.com.
The final price marked a steep drop from the property’s original asking price, with Keaton’s estate first listing the five-bedroom, seven-bathroom residence in March 2025 for $28.9 million.
The industrial-style home, owned by the Fashion First author, was later relisted three separate times, most recently hitting the market in June with a reduced price of $22.9 million.
Keaton, who was born Diane Hall, originally purchased the 9,219-square-foot farmhouse in 2011 for $4.7 million. She then spent eight years transforming the property, a process she chronicled in her 2017 book, The House That Pinterest Built.
The main beneficiaries of the two-time Golden Globe winner’s estate are her two children: daughter Dexter “Dexie” White, 30, and son Duke Keaton, 26, whom she adopted in 1996 and 2001.
