A missing Philadelphia woman was allegedly featured nude on a pornographer’s website in an image that appeared to show her with a black eye and blood on her lip — and the site reportedly stayed online after she disappeared.
Blair Tonzelli, 35, was reported missing in February 2023. Friends told authorities she had last been seen the previous summer at the home of Raymond “RC” Horsch in Philadelphia’s Olney section.
Months after Tonzelli’s disappearance was reported, a troubling photograph of her allegedly remained prominently featured on Horsch’s erotic website, according to archived web records reviewed by the Philadelphia Inquirer.
The nude image allegedly showed Tonzelli looking directly at the camera while appearing to have a bruised eye and blood trailing from her lower lip.
An archived snapshot of the website allegedly indicates the image was still visible in September 2023, roughly seven months after Tonzelli had been formally reported missing.
Key questions remain unanswered, including when the photo was taken, how Tonzelli may have suffered the apparent injuries, and whether the marks were genuine or staged.
The Inquirer reported that Horsch uploaded the image around 2020, after meeting Tonzelli in Philadelphia’s Kensington neighborhood, and kept using it for years as one of the site’s main promotional images.
The website has since been removed from public view.

The revelation comes as investigators examine a vast collection of disturbing material recovered from the Horsch family home.
Philadelphia Police Inspector Raymond Evers said during an August 12 briefing that investigators had recovered approximately 600,000 images, 70,000 videos and more than 10,000 pages of writings, manuscripts and drawings from digital devices inside the property, according to CBS News Philadelphia.
Detectives had reviewed only around five to seven percent of the material, which Evers described as ‘graphic and dark.’
While examining the first hard drive, investigators found photographs and videos that appeared to show two missing women alive inside the property and later dead, police said.
They were identified as Gabrielle Amarando, who disappeared in September 2012 at age 22, and Maribel Fresses, who was last seen in February 2018 at age 27.
Police believe both women are dead, although their bodies have not been found.
Without their remains, the medical examiner has been unable to determine when, how or where they died.

Authorities have not said whether the women were killed, died from overdoses or suffered some other fate.
No one has been charged in connection with either woman’s disappearance or suspected death.
The investigation also prompted police to reexamine the disappearance of Amy McHale, Horsch’s former wife and onetime film collaborator.
McHale was last seen at the Olney property in 2016 and appeared in Horsch’s films, photographs and music videos.
The house is consequently connected in varying ways to at least four missing women: Tonzelli, McHale, Amarando and Fresses.
Tonzelli remains missing, and police have not said whether she appears in any of the material recovered from the hard drives.
No human remains have been found at the property.
Police and FBI investigators excavated part of the site in July and removed a section of pipe for forensic testing, according to the Inquirer.

Investigators also recovered containers holding unidentified substances, chemicals, five urns believed to contain cremated remains, illegal weapons and fake federal law-enforcement credentials, police said.
Some of the substances were sent to a laboratory for analysis, but authorities have not announced that any of the items have been conclusively linked to the missing women.
The investigation began after police arrested Horsch’s 44-year-old son, Eugene Albert Horsch, near Independence Hall on June 19.
Eugene Horsch was found inside a black BMW with a woman who presented officers with a fake identification card bearing Tonzelli’s name, according to police records obtained by the Inquirer.
The woman later told investigators that he created the ID and instructed her to use it if she got into trouble, the newspaper reported.
Police said they recovered two illegal handguns, knives, drugs and a fraudulent Drug Enforcement Administration badge bearing his photograph during the encounter.
The discovery led authorities back to the home, where they reportedly found additional fake IDs bearing Tonzelli’s name and one of her bank cards.
Eugene Horsch remains in federal custody on an illegal firearm possession charge. Philadelphia prosecutors withdrew their local case in August so federal authorities could take over the prosecution, the Inquirer reported.

He has not been charged with harming any of the missing women, and police have not publicly established whether he participated in his father’s pornography business.
His father, meanwhile, died from lung-related health problems in May 2025 at age 82.
Horsch was known in erotic art and pornography circles for publishing films, novels and more than a dozen photo books.
His work frequently portrayed women as in horrific and graphic ways, but claimed the scenes were staged and consensual.
He openly acknowledged recruiting women struggling with addiction by offering them drugs or money to participate.
Tonzelli had battled addiction for years and met Horsch in Kensington while living at a known drug house, her friends told the Inquirer.
An extensive Inquirer investigation into Horsch’s background found that he blurred fact and fiction in writings about a nearly autobiographical serial killer who murdered people with addictions.
Archived website records showed his online pages once contained at least 2,100 distinct images taken over several decades, although the newspaper recovered only a portion of them.
At least three dozen women, many still unidentified, appeared in his work.

Some of the images were conventional erotic portraits, while other collections portrayed darker undertones.
Horsch also operated a paid membership program offering access to his photographs and videos and used the website to advertise an escort service between approximately 2017 and 2021, according to archived material reviewed by the Inquirer.
Several women who lived at or passed through the Olney property later died from overdoses, including Horsch’s longtime companion Krista Killen, who appeared in several productions and died in 2025.
Authorities have not accused Horsch of causing those deaths.
Police have not said whether officers visited Horsch’s home or interviewed him after Tonzelli was reported missing.
They have also declined to say whether they knew that an apparently injured Tonzelli was featured publicly on his website.
A Philadelphia Police Department spokesperson declined to address the questions when approached by the Inquirer, citing the ongoing investigation.
