Making history once more, Thiago Silva has become Chelsea’s oldest ever outfield player as he etches his name into the history books.

Stepping out at St James Park on Saturday, Silva became the Blues’ oldest ever outfield player aged 39 as Chelsea look to come away with points.

Despite making history, Silva made a costly mistake in the second half, allowing the hosts a 3-1 lead over Mauricio Pochettino’s visitors.
