Wicked, Bridgerton star crowned Sexiest Man Alive

People Magazine has once again bestowed its title of Sexiest Man Alive, choosing from a pool that surprisingly doesn’t include any of the countless attractive figures from history.

Interestingly, the honor frequently lands on an actor’s shoulders each year.

Despite the tireless efforts of brave firefighters and compassionate veterinarians, Hollywood celebrities often capture the spotlight, conveniently boosting magazine sales.

Are there other sexy men alive?

A few. The people also get to say who is sexy, and prior to the official announcement, the people’s choices are announced.

This year’s selections span a diverse range, including Christian McCaffrey, dubbed the “sexiest new dad in sports,” and Dave Franco, who took home the title of Sexiest Cat Dad.

Is the prize of being the sexiest man alive cursed?

Yes! Just like many other titles, such as the Grammy Award for Best New Artist and England’s “Duke of York,” this one also comes with a dark undercurrent.

It’s noteworthy that individuals honored as Sexiest Man Alive are all, inevitably, mortal, having endured life’s challenges, including wars and global tensions.

These individuals often face personal trials such as divorces, career setbacks, hair loss, and sometimes even unexpected hair regrowth.

Still, it’s nice to think that having once been named as extremely, extravagantly sexy must keep them warm on the coldest of nights.

Brad Pitt was first named sexiest man alive in 1995, the same year we got the phrase, “If it doesn’t fit, you must acquit.”
