A former Saturday Night Live cast member made a rare appearance in New York City this week—but can you guess who it is?

The 62-year-old star started out in stand-up comedy before making her first screen appearances in the early 1990s.
The mystery star is Janeane Garofalo, who was part of the SNL cast from 1994 until leaving the show in 1995.
Garofalo opted for a casual look during Wednesday’s stroll through New York City, wearing a dark gray tank top and red Adidas track pants.
She completed the outfit with black sneakers and carried a bag across her chest during the daytime outing.
Her dark hair fell naturally past her shoulders, while a pair of light pink sunglasses added the finishing touch.
The actress was photographed walking alone through a quieter part of the otherwise bustling city.
Our News Outlet has contacted Garofalo’s representatives for comment but has not yet received a response.
Garofalo was born on September 28, 1964, in New Jersey and later graduated from James E. Taylor High School in Houston, Texas.
She began performing stand-up in the 1980s and eventually met Ben Stiller after moving through the Los Angeles comedy scene.

Wet Hot American Summer had also cast other stars such as Molly Shannon, David Hyde Pierce and Paul Rudd.
While the movie failed at the box office, it has since gained a cult following.
‘Here’s the thing: I predicted it was going be a cult classic when we were making it, and I couldn’t believe it when no one saw it at the time,’ Garofalo said of the film during an interview with Time Magazine.
‘I was just like, Wow, wow we had such a great time making it! At Sundance there was a bidding war over a movie called Super Troopers by [comedy group] Broken Lizard, which eclipsed us.’
She further added, ‘Then years went by, and I started noticing that much younger people at the street level and at stand-up shows would come up to me quoting lines from it. It just built and built and built from there.’
