An Australian man who made headlines for confronting Ariana Grande this week had previously announced in June that he intended to abandon his notorious behavior for good.

Johnson Wen bypassed photographers and aggressively approached the singer as the cast paraded down a yellow carpet at the Wicked: For Good premiere.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo intervened, ensuring Wen was kept away from Grande until security swiftly escorted him out.

“I was about to bust out some extra Fortnite moves, but security was too quick for me,” Wen remarked.

He added, “I plan to quit this for good because it lands you in far too much trouble, especially in my case, having done it so often.”

Wen’s escapades have taken him across the globe, including disruptions at events like the Olympics in Paris, the FIFA Women’s World Cup, and the Cricket World Cup final in India.

“I just got on there, and as soon as I got tackled I got in a lot of trouble,” he said of the invasion in India, saying “there was way too many security”.

Wen claimed in June he’s not a threat, but his actions exposed serious security flaws.

He was already banned from Olympic Park for storming The Weeknd’s stage in October last year when he attended Qudos Bank Arena for Perry’s concert.
