Shopping for presents and Christmas gifts during the year can save you hundreds of dollars, a bargain hunter has revealed.

Mum Kylie purchased a massive haul of kitchen items for just $100 by keeping an eye out for sales online.

After shopping at Robin’s Kitchen and House, Kylie shared what she purchased with members part of the Markdown Addicts Australia Facebook group.

‘Every so often I’ll jump on their websites and search the clearance section,’ she wrote.

‘I purchase things for myself and I purchase a lot to be used as Christmas gifts for friends.’

Kylie bought three food flasks for $12 that had been reduced from $35, and a Baccarat le connoisseur lasagna dish for $15 instead of $70.

Rather than spending $60 for three wooden chopping boards, she only paid $20 – which was the most expensive item.

The savvy mum also picked up tea towels, serving boards, cheese board with slicer and a citrus juicer.

In addition to the huge sale, Kylie also received an extra 25 per cent off the total.

‘I do love my Robins Kitchen/House random buys (owned by the same company and stock almost all the same products at the same prices),’ she said.

At the moment Robins Kitchen is offering 50 per cent off Baccarat kitchen appliances and pots as well as up to 79 per cent off cookware sets and knife blocks.

Now is also a good time to shop the best deals at House, which is offering up to 75 per cent off for a ‘winter sale’.

In the comments another customer took advantage of the sales and bought a whopping 21 items for just $156.75

‘I did an order on the weekend. Food flasks were a steal and got the same cheese knives. Also a pasta machine and lots of other stuff. Can’t wait for it to come,’ the woman wrote.
