Owodunni Ibrahim nicknamed Primeboy, a musician and boyhood friend of late singer Mohbad, believes it is time for Wunmi, Mohad’s widow, to come up and tell the public the truth about his death.

Primeboy shared a photo of a petition he filed against Wuni and wrote:

‘’I told you to stop mentioning my Name…… You didn’t stop……. Now It is the time to tell the whole World the truth you said you know about what kill your boyfriend (Mohbad)….. Or you face the Music!!!!!!!…………..”

GISTLOVER earlier reported that The Lagos State Police Command has re-arrested Afrobeat singer Ibrahim Owodunni, also known as Primeboy. His arrest was reportedly tied to the killing of Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad.

Punch stated that he was detained on Tuesday morning, March 12, on a visit to the State Criminal Investigation Department in Panti, Yaba, with a witness, Ayobami Fisayo nicknamed Spending.

Mohbad died on September 12 at the age of 27, under questionable circumstances that generated indignation and rallies by supporters demanding a police inquiry and prosecution of those responsible for his murder.

Following many claims, singer Naira Marley, Lagos socialite Balogun Eletu, alias Sam Larry, and Primeboy, among others, were detained and eventually freed on bail.

It was further gathered that Primeboy and Spending had been asked to visit the SCID every week since the commencement of the investigation into the circumstances leading to the death of singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

While Primeboy was arrested on Tuesday, March 12, Spending was released the same day.

A source told the publication;

“Both of them had gone to register their presence at SCID this morning as they have been asked to report every week. But when they got there, Primeboy was immediately handcuffed and detained. They allowed only Spending to go after he had signed. Primeboy has been locked up as I speak.”
