At the infamous Coldplay concert, the husband of a human resources executive seen together with her married boss was also present, enjoying the show with his own companion.
Andrew Cabot, previously wed to ex-Astronomer executive Kristin Cabot, 52, for a couple of years, recently addressed the situation, disclosing that he and his wife were already separated when the incident occurred.
New revelations indicate that Andrew, too, had moved beyond the marriage, as he attended the same Coldplay concert with his new partner.
A source informed The Times of London, ‘Kristin was in the box with colleagues, though it wasn’t a company box, and Andrew was there with a date, who is now his girlfriend.’ They had been living separately for several weeks, the split being mutual.
The source explained, ‘Kristin feels restricted from speaking publicly, as those navigating a divorce often can’t make public statements.’
The source went on to address Cabot’s ill-fated decision to duck and hide when the camera panned to her and Astronomer CEO Andy Byron cuddling.
The move caught the eye of Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, who said: ‘Either they’re having an affair or they’re very shy.’
Byron, seeing himself on the big screen, appeared to mutter, ‘F****** hell, it’s me.’

Andrew Cabot, who was married to the former Astronomer executive Kristen Cabot, confirmed they had parted ways when the incident came to light.
It was that moment which ultimately went viral and cost both Cabot and Byron their jobs.
‘Kristin wasn’t hiding, she doesn’t know why she ducked. She knew it was inappropriate to behave that way with her boss as the head of HR,’ the insider said.
‘It was not that she was caught cheating, it was not some affair,’ they said. ‘She fully acknowledges [the hug] was inappropriate, but that was the only inappropriate thing she did.’
According to the source, Cabot and Byron share nothing more than ‘a great friendship.’
Andrew was said to have been ‘blindsided’ when he found reporters outside the $2.2million waterfront home in Rye, New Hampshire that he shared with his wife and his two children.
He felt compelled to confirm to People that he and Cabot were already ‘privately and amicably separated several weeks before the Coldplay concert.’
‘Their decision to divorce was already underway prior to that evening,’ a spokesperson for Andrew, who is the CEO of Privateer Rum, told the outlet.
‘Now that the divorce filing is public, Andrew hopes this provides respectful closure to speculation and allows his family the privacy they’ve always valued.’

Byron’s 50-year-old wife Megan Kerrigan, with whom he shares two children, quickly moved out of their marital home and returned her wedding ring in the days following the kiss-cam blunder.
She even removed her married name ‘Byron’ from her Facebook page online – before she decided to just delete the account altogether.
Meanwhile, Astronomer was forced to go on the offensive – quickly putting both Byron and Cabot on leave before they resigned.

‘While awareness of our company may have changed over night our product and our work for our customers have not.’
