Dr. Mehmet Oz, a former television host appointed by President Donald Trump to oversee Medicaid, has unexpectedly emerged in the files related to Jeffrey Epstein. This revelation has come as new connections between top officials and the infamous financier are unveiled.

According to a document recently released by the Department of Justice, Oz, who is now 65 and serves as the administrator for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, extended an invitation to Epstein for a Valentine’s Day gathering in 2016. This invitation was conveyed through an email to Epstein, suggesting a celebration at Oz’s residence in Palm Beach.

The email, a seemingly typical digital invite sent via Paperless Post, was from Oz and his wife, Lisa, to Epstein. This correspondence is just one among several exchanged between Oz and Epstein from 2012 to 2016.

These communications occurred years after Epstein’s conviction in Florida for soliciting a minor for prostitution, a crime that resulted in his registration as a sex offender. Despite this, the exchanges continued, raising questions about the nature of their relationship.

Epstein’s story concluded dramatically when he died by suicide on August 10, 2019, while held in federal custody on charges of sex trafficking. His death has left lingering controversies and ongoing investigations into his network and connections.

Epstein committed suicide on August 10, 2019, while in federal custody for sex trafficking, the government has claimed.

Another email on January 1, 2016, between Oz and Epstein is completely illegible due to encryption.

Oz is one of several high-ranking Trump administration officials who have not just named in the file, but in communication with and in proximity of the late sex offender.

CMS did not return the Daily Mail’s request for comment.

Department of Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick testified on Capitol Hill this week about his connections to Epstein after it came to light that the two met for lunch on the financier’s infamous island.

Especially after Democrats on the Senate Commerce Committee accused the secretary of being misleading.

‘You misled the country and the Congress based on your earlier statements suggesting that you cut off all contact when in fact you had not,’ Democratic Senator Chris Van Hollen said to Lutnick.

Lutnick told the New York Post last year that he cut ties with the financier after first meeting in 2005.

He said because he was too creeped out by Epstein and decided that he ‘will never be in the room with that disgusting person ever again.’

But that was not their last interaction; the new files show that Lutnick and his family rendezvous on the island in 2012.

‘No, I wasn’t aware of it,’ Trump said when asked about Lutnick’s visit, which was supposedly for lunch as he was sailing by on a vacation with his family.

‘I actually haven’t spoken to him about it,’ Trump continued, ‘but from what I hear, he was there with his wife and children.’

The president and other famous figures, like Bill Clinton, Elon Musk, and scores more, are also named. Trump’s name appears hundreds of times.
