Former President Joe Biden had to shut down conspiracies he was diagnosed with prostate cancer before last week.
‘Prior to Friday, President Biden had never been diagnosed with prostate cancer,’ a spokesperson for Biden insisted on Tuesday.
Following President Donald Trump’s comments on Monday, he propagated conspiracies claiming that Biden had known about his cancer diagnosis for a significant period. Trump alleged that his team had concealed this information as part of a broader attempt to hide Biden’s declining health while in office.
“I’m surprised that the public wasn’t informed much earlier because reaching stage nine doesn’t happen quickly,” Trump remarked, further fueling conspiracy theories.
Biden’s team disclosed on Sunday that the former president is battling an ‘aggressive form’ of prostate cancer that has metastasized and spread to his bones.
The former president received an outpouring of support, including from Trump and the first lady.

‘Melania and I are saddened to hear about Joe Biden’s recent medical diagnosis,’ Trump posted to Truth Social on Sunday.
He added: ‘We extend our warmest and best wishes to Jill and the family, and we wish Joe a fast and successful recovery.’
However, his eldest son Donald Trump Jr. and other members of the online MAGAverse started stirring the pot over whether a cover-up was afoot.
‘What I want to know is how did Dr. Jill Biden miss stage five metastatic cancer or is this yet another cover-up???’ Trump Jr. mused of the former president’s wife.
Dr. Biden, the former first lady, is not a medical doctor. She has a Ph.D in education.
After bragging on Monday about acing his own physical exam – and noting that he had taken a cognitive test – Trump suggested something was awry with Biden’s White House doctor.
‘I think that if you look, it’s the same doctor that said that Joe was cognitively fine. There was nothing wrong with him,’ Trump said. ‘Maybe it was the same doctor, and somebody is not telling the facts.’
He said that while he felt ‘badly’ about the diagnosis, but added: ‘I think people should try and find out what happened.’

After Biden bombed his debate against Trump in late June last year, questions about his fitness for office got even louder.
Then White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre initially bungled a response when asked why a Parkinson’s disease expert had visited the White House multiple times.
Additionally, Biden’s White House physician, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, never took questions from the press, unlike Trump’s original White House physician, Dr. Ronny Jackson, now a MAGA-aligned Republican representing Texas in Congress.
Trump’s second White House doctor, Dr. Sean Conley, addressed the press when Trump contracted COVID-19 just weeks before the 2020 election.
Conley was criticized, however, for painting a much-too-rosy picture of Trump’s battle with the disease, which could have turned deadly.
Throughout Biden’s term, O’Connor stayed away from the cameras.
