Justin Bieber’s mother Patti Mallette publicly prayed for her son earlier this week, and now, fans suspect there may be more behind the well wishes.
Many internet users noted the intriguing timing of the prayer, which came five days before Justin’s former girlfriend Selena Gomez’s wedding to Benny Blanco.
‘We’re cheering you on and praying for you always Justin,’ Patti wrote on Instagram on Monday in a lengthy message.
She went on to ‘declare freedom, strength, clarity, and healing over’ her son and asked that God ‘heal every wound in his heart, mind, and body.’
As the prayer was shared just days before Selena’s wedding, set for this Saturday, many social media users quickly shared their theories in the comment section.
‘His mom knew his feelings to Selena since her wedding is tomorrow,’ one user posted.
‘Welp! The love of his life is getting married tomorrow,’ another wrote.
‘Nothing, it’s just a Selena’s wedding,’ someone else added.

Numerous followers noted the interesting timing of the prayer, released five days before Justin’s ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez’s wedding to Benny Blanco (captured in January).
‘It must be a new song called pray for me. He always try to sabotage Selena’s special moments,’ theorized a different person.
“Selena Gomez, you deserve someone better than this man! Sending prayers for Selena to maintain her peace and happiness in her new life with Benny,” read one comment.
Another added, “It’s so cringe to see people wanting Justin and Selena back together. She’s about to get married in a few days, and Justin already has a child with Hailey [Bieber].”
On Monday, Patti, 50, posted a series of black-and-white images of Justin, 31, including one which featured the singer wearing a shirt that read ‘Pray for Me.’
She wrote in the length caption, ‘We’re cheering you on and praying for you always Justin.’
‘Every chain of fear, confusion, heaviness, and pain – be broken in Jesus’ name. Holy Spirit, surround him with truth, light, and protection,’ she continued.
‘Heal every wound in his heart, mind, and body, seen and unseen, restore what’s been stolen, and cover him in wholeness.
‘Fill him to overflowing with tour love and comfort. Continue to raise him up as a voice for your kingdom, unshaken and on fire for you lord.
