Kathy Griffin showed off the results of her third facelift after getting glammed up for a book event over the weekend.

At The Grove’s Barnes & Noble store in Los Angeles, the comedian, 64, appeared confident and vibrant as she revealed the effects of her recent cosmetic surgery.

She spoke during a signing event for Liz Flynt’s new coffee table book, HUSTLER: 50 Years of Freedom, which delves into the magazine’s extensive history dating back to its founding in the ’70s by mogul Larry Flynt.

The Emmy-winning actress put on casual display, pairing a white button-down shirt with a black bomber jacket and wide-leg, cropped jeans.

Her fiery red hair, styled in lively curls, stood out against her otherwise simple outfit, accompanied by glamorous makeup that accentuated her features.

Griffin’s face looked taut as ever amid her rapid recovery from her latest youthful transformation.

At The Grove’s Barnes & Noble store in Los Angeles, the comedian, 64, appeared confident and vibrant as she revealed the effects of her recent cosmetic surgery.

Her attendance at the event came just weeks after she confirmed undergoing her third facelift along with an upper blepharoplasty featuring a stylish cat-eye stitch.

Early last month, the comedian openly discussed her recent experience and noted that Sia’s results inspired her to undertake the procedure once more.

‘I have a new face, you guys,’ she began in an August 5 YouTube video. ‘I had a facelift. That’s right. By the way, this is my third.’ 

She added: ‘I just think it’s funny that I’m even having one, because it’s not like I’m known for my face.’ 

She later noted that she took notes from another star not known for her face. 

‘The guy who did my facelift also did Sia,’ she said of her plastic surgeon, Dr. Ben Talei of Beverly Hills. 

‘It’s funny Sia even got a facelift because you don’t ever see her face,’ she said. ‘There’s a video of her without her backwards wig, and she had the best before and after pictures I’ve ever seen.’ 

Griffin said that seeing those pictures of the Chandelier hitmaker ‘sold me’ and she reached out to get in touch with her surgeon.

She recalled: ‘I was like, “Sia, this guy’s backed up. Everybody wants to have him do their face. And so she called him and was like, “My friend Kathy Griffin is a global comedic icon,” or who knows what BS she told him.’ 

She also discussed the procedure on her Talk Your Head Off podcast: ‘It’s my third. I know that’s so vain! I’m so vain for no reason.’

‘No one has ever gone to a Kathy Griffin show to see her beautiful, youthful face. You come to hear my jokes, which is what I want.’ 

She continued: ‘I don’t want you to come to care what I look like. I’m in Lululemons today for God’s sake. I’m in my fat pants. I don’t have dysmorphia… I have a little.’ 

The comedian — who previously presented her surgeon a Daytime Beauty Award in 2023 — then gushed: ‘I love him, I can’t say enough good about him.’ 

Along with the facelift, the star also discussed her foxy eye lift and admitted she got work done on her chin.

‘There’s a stitch in my chin, which you’re probably not going to see unless you’re under me, but not in that way,’ she explained. ‘I’m going to be honest. It’s painful. So these bi***es that are like, “It’s like getting a tooth filled! It’s nothing!” No, it’s painful.’

She has been undergoing a rapid recovery process for her procedure, as she detailed in her August 5 YouTube video, and showing off her successful results

Afterwards, Kathy went to a ‘rich lady recovery place’ and then returned home. 

‘You get out of that place and you come home and maybe you come home with a nurse, and it’s disgusting. I’m not going to lie. The first night there’s drains that come out of your chin. I know it’s so gross. But the vanity takes over.’ 

Griffin — who had half of her left lung removed during a 2021 cancer battle — has opened up about ageism in the entertainment industry in the past, such as when she interviewed with Deadline back in 2016.

‘I hear it all the time,’ she said, referencing to comments she has gotten about her age over the years.

‘I’ve been hearing it since I was 30, from managers, agents, studio heads and network executives.’ 

She continued, ‘I’m sure I heard it in the last year. They really think nothing of saying to me, “You’re really funny, but they’ve decided to go younger.” It’s so common for a woman to hear that. ‘I don’t think anyone ever told them you’re not supposed to say that. They think it’s still a legitimate reason for someone not to get a job…’
