Keanu Reeves and his partner of eight years, Alexandra Grant, continue to enjoy a flourishing relationship. The couple was recently seen sharing a joyful moment at the MOCA Gala held in Los Angeles, California, on Saturday night.
The 61-year-old star of “The Matrix” donned a classic black suit, complemented by a grey shirt, tie, and brown shoes. Meanwhile, 53-year-old artist Alexandra Grant showcased her style in a sleeveless blue teal ensemble, complete with a matching maxi skirt and gold accessories.
Reeves, known for his reserved demeanor, was caught beaming as he walked hand-in-hand with Grant—whom he affectionately calls ‘my honey’—on the black carpet at The Geffen Contemporary.
In a conversation with People last Friday, Grant reflected on their relationship, saying, “I’d say the key to it is the mutual respect and also just like, come on, it’s play, right?”
She elaborated, “It’s play that we get to engage in creatively. The last thing I will say that I think we share is just the belief in projects. Every project has its own autonomy, its own team, its own set of rules, and it follows a journey from beginning, to middle, to end.”
Grant continued, “So we both are people who embark on projects, and you know, I’ve lived with John Wick, I’ve lived with Neo.”

The grantLOVE project creator continued: ‘When he’s in a character, for example, I have so much respect for that understanding that this is the middle to the end of a project, right? And I think the same goes for painting.
‘When I’m in painter mode, I am in it. I’m fully in it, and it’s not playing a character, but it is performing, you know, painting really is a form of performance too.’
The Outcome star originally met Grant at a dinner party in 2009 before contributing poetry to two of her books, Ode to Happiness in 2011 and Shadows in 2016.
Reeves and his silver-haired ladylove co-founded the small publishing imprint X Artists’ Books in 2017 alongside Jessica Fleischmann before they officially began dating in 2018.
