WASHINGTON — Kristi Noem has filed for divorce from her husband, Bryon, citing irreconcilable differences. The filing comes months after a bombshell report focused on his alleged interest in “bimbofication” fetish models.
The former South Dakota governor and ex-Homeland Security secretary submitted the divorce petition Monday in Hamlin County Court in South Dakota, her home state.
Noem and Bryon have been married since 1992 and share three children.
In late March, shortly after President Trump dismissed Noem as DHS secretary, the Daily Mail reported that Bryon Noem had regularly exchanged messages with women involved in the so-called “bimbofication” fetish community. The subculture involves adult performers using extensive breast augmentation to create an exaggerated, “Barbie doll”-inspired appearance.

The Mail, citing what it described as “hundreds” of messages allegedly sent to three models, reported that Bryon Noem said he wanted “huge, huge ridiculous boobs.” The report also said he sent a photograph of himself wearing pink hot pants and a flesh-colored bodysuit designed with an exaggerated physique.
A representative for Noem told The Post at the time that she was “devastated” by the revelations. “The family was blindsided by this, and they ask for privacy and prayers at the time,” the representative said.
Noem, 54, has also faced scrutiny over her longstanding relationship with former Trump campaign adviser Corey Lewandowski, who is married and has four children.
Sources told The Post that Noem and Lewandowski have continued their romantic relationship. The pair were reportedly seen biking together and displaying affection along Minnesota’s Lake Minnetonka last month.
