And on Monday, billionaire U.S. media baron Lachlan Murdoch, 50, and his family appeared happy to be back home as they landed in the Harbour City after a trip to French Polynesia.
After touching down in his $90million private jet, Lachlan was seen pushing the clan’s very modest luggage through Sydney Airport while his wife Sarah and their three children walked nearby.

The Fox CEO revealed his arm tattoo and a golden tan in a grey T-shirt and beige trousers as he strolled through the terminal.
He completed his look with a pair of black New Balance sneakers and wore a face mask.
Meanwhile, Sarah looked stylish in a long black sleeveless dress, brown sandals and her favourite $1,100 Loewe raffia bag.
She threw a cashmere sweater around her shoulders and tied her blonde locks into a low bun.

She accessorised with an eye-catching personalised gold necklace by the American brand Foundrae,, which is estimated to cost around $19,000 (AUD) and a Cartier watch.

It seems the couple, along with their three children, sons Kalan Alexander, 16, and Aidan Patrick, 14, and daughter Aerin Elisabeth, 10, may be here to stay.
In April last year, the Sydney Morning Herald reported the Murdochs will be in Australia ‘for years, not months, as initially believed’.
The family, who are based in their Bellevue Hill compound, known as Le Manoir, have settled into life in Sydney after Sarah was seen at the Royal Easter Show in Olympic Park with her children.

While no reason was given for the family’s return to Australia, a report claimed it was the political climate in the U.S. that inspired them to leave LA in favour of Sydney.
Despite having spent years in LA, where Lachlan is Executive Chairman and CEO of Fox Corporation, the couple have always maintained their Bellevue Hill home.
