LeAnn Rimes details her 'severe' health issues amid show cancelations

On Friday, LeAnn Rimes announced the cancellation of more upcoming concerts due to ongoing health challenges.

The 43-year-old Grammy Award winner, who had already canceled several shows earlier this week, reached out to her 1.2 million Instagram followers via Stories. She explained, “Following a COVID diagnosis that led to severe laryngitis, I’m heartbroken to announce that next week’s concerts need to be rescheduled.”

Rimes continued, “A recent visit to my doctor for a vocal cord examination confirmed the situation, and I wanted to inform you as promptly as possible.”

In her heartfelt message, she expressed, “It truly pains me to reschedule these events. There’s nowhere I’d rather be next week than celebrating with all of you.”

The concerts, originally set to take place in Waukegan, Illinois, and Wilmington, Ohio, have been rescheduled for November 6 and 7.

This development comes nearly a year after Rimes experienced a mid-performance mishap when her teeth fell out.

The Can’t Fight the Moonlight hitmaker signed off, ‘Sending you all my love, Le.’

Rimes previously announced on Wednesday that she was suffering from a ‘severe illness’ that caused her to cancel shows.

She said she was ‘heartbroken’ that she would not be able to sing for her fans this week as she needed to rest.

‘I’m sorry to share that the upcoming shows in Spokane and Seattle will be rescheduled,’ she said online.

The shows were supposed to take place April 30 and May 1.

‘I am truly heartbroken to have to reschedule and i am so very grateful for your kindness, and continued support as I recover.

‘I look forward to being back on stage and seeing you very soon, Love, LeAnn,’ she wrote.

Rimes revealed in January she had an intensive procedure costing up to $45,000 to ‘clean’ her blood of mold and microplastics.

The country music star shared a candid video on Instagram from her trip to Next Health medical clinic in Nashville, showing herself hooked up to a machine as she underwent the procedure.

The costly longevity treatment removes the liquid portion of blood, filtering out toxins, antibodies and inflammatory agents before replacing it with fresh plasma.

‘I demand so much from my body and it’s incredibly important to me to take the best care of it I possibly can,’ she captioned her video, which showed her reclining in a chair with tubes connected to her arms.

Following the ordeal, the singer – who has had multiple dental surgeries in the past and whose jaw memorably dislocated during a 2014 concert – detailed the excruciating moment her dental bridge ‘popped out.’

She said on Instagram: ‘We’re going to do a little story time about how the show must go on. And this is the most epic example of how the show must go on.

‘So last night, I was on stage in the middle of One Way Ticket. I feel something pop in my mouth. And if you’ve been around, you know I’ve had a lot of dental surgeries, and I have a bridge in the front. It fell out in the middle of my song last night.’
