Random man with soda hilariously corrects Muscle Beach bodybuilder’s form

A playful argument between a muscular bodybuilder and an Australian passerby at Los Angeles’ famous Muscle Beach Venice Gym has viewers online laughing harder than a heavy lifting session.

Carrying a sweating can of soda and sporting a long mullet, the man approached the heavily built athlete while he was powering through a set. The encounter quickly took an unexpected turn.

According to the video, the Australian leaned over to suggest that the bodybuilder adjust his technique. Rather than welcoming the advice, the athlete appeared to take immediate offense.

“I’m from Australia. This comes from a place of love, but, like, you can slow down a bit,” the man told him.

The comment prompted a sharp response from the bodybuilder, sending the brief exchange into increasingly tense territory.

“Look at my physique and look at your physique,” the bodybuilder fired back, gesturing toward the Australian’s noticeably softer frame.

Without missing a beat, the Australian defended himself with a joke: “It’s water weight from creatine.”

As the bodybuilder repeatedly told him to leave, the man holding the soda seemed to realize that his well-intended gym advice had struck a nerve.

Trying to defuse the situation, he suggested that they had “got off on the wrong foot” and asked whether they could start the conversation over.

The attempt did little to calm the bodybuilder, who let out a loud grunt before shouting, “Stop talking to me.” The Australian apologized, bringing the unusual Muscle Beach confrontation to an end.

The comedy continued in the Reddit comments, where users quickly added their own jokes. “He’s just mad because that guy didn’t come over with a little cup of creatine for him to eat from. That’s what you’re supposed to do at a petting zoo,” one commenter wrote.

“They look like twins,” another user joked.

A third commenter offered a lighthearted take on the exchange: “This is how the average Australian person f**** with people. It’s very common here. Immediately getting mad is the worst thing you can do, it just makes us go harder. It’s also how Australians sound when sincere.”
