Meghan Markle embraced a touch of luxury during a family outing to a pumpkin patch this weekend, donning an ensemble that exceeded $1,600 in value. The Duchess of Sussex, age 44, was captured on Instagram enjoying the seasonal excursion with Prince Harry and their children, Archie, six, and Lilibet, four, near their California residence.
Despite the relaxed setting, Meghan ensured she maintained a fashionable appearance. Her choice of attire featured a $400 Anine Bing ‘Luca’ padded jacket, a piece she recently showcased at the Fortune’s Most Powerful Women summit in Washington DC. This stylish outerwear was complemented by black skinny jeans and Co Leather black riding boots, which come with a $1,195 price tag. Her hair was elegantly tied back in a low ponytail, rounding off her effortlessly chic look.
Prince Harry opted for a more casual ensemble, sporting jeans, a hoodie, and a baseball cap as he strolled through the pumpkin-laden fields with his family.
Reports suggest the Sussex family enjoyed their Halloween outing at Lane Farms in Santa Barbara, conveniently located just a short drive from their Montecito abode.
Harry, meanwhile, also opted for a casual look in jeans, a hoodie and a baseball cap.
The Sussexes are believed to have visited Lane Farms in Santa Barbara, a stone’s throw away from their Montecito mansion.
At one point, the camera fixated on the couple holding hands as they observed Archie trawling through the farm’s produce, before running through a corn maze.
The family was also joined by Meghan’s close friend Markus Anderson and mother Doria Ragland for pumpkin carving – while Harry skillfully carved a spooky face into his own jack-o’-lantern.

The footage also showed glimpses at Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie’s auburn hair, inherited from their father, as they inspected the fruits on offer.
Other moments saw Meghan affectionately patting her son’s head and leading her daughter through the farm on a trailer, happily sat beside her collected pumpkins.
Captioning her post, Meghan wrote ‘Happy Sunday’, and added a pumpkin and heart emoji.
As is always the case with Meghan’s Instagram posts, the comments on the video have been turned off with the number of likes hidden.
It’s not the only sweet clip the royal has decided to share with the world in recent weeks.
Last month, the Duchess shared footage of her children having fun at Disneyland, showing them reaching for Disney-themed treats in a video from June.
One snap showed the siblings admiring a The Little Mermaid-themed cake, featuring the writing ‘Happy Birthday Lili’ to mark the Princess’ fourth birthday, alongside two tiers of characters, including Ariel and the crab, Sebastian.
The children watched on in awe as their father, Prince Harry, carved a pumpkin just in time for the spooky season
The back of Princess Lilibet’s flowing auburn hair is also visible as she inspects the many fruits on offer
Archie and Lili leaned against one another in the adorable photo, with the Princess eyeing her impressive birthday cake.
Wanting to guard their children’s privacy, the image, which was shared as part of The Happiest Story On Earth: 70 Years Of Disneyland documentary, only showed their backs.
Back in June, Meghan uploaded an Instagram post that included special moments from their visit to the ‘Happiest Place on Earth’.
She shared a video montage from the two-day Disneyland vacation as the family had a blast on numerous rides and indulged in delicious treats.
In recent weeks, the Duchess has appeared to be gearing up for her ‘Meghan 3.0’ relaunch, following a PR blitz to Paris, New York and Washington DC.
On Friday night, she shared a short teaser showing a woman’s hand pouring a sparkling drink from a classy-looking bottle into a tall glass.
Accompanying the clip, which featured the sound of chatter at a social event, were the words, ‘Save The Date October 28th’ and the As Ever logo, a palm tree with two birds.

Some have speculated Meghan could be looking to launch a new sparkling wine or a champagne, though others believe it could be a cider based on a previous teaser video.
Meanwhile, she popped up at a glitzy vegan banquet in Los Angeles celebrating women ‘owning their power’ and helping ‘each other get s**t done’.
The Duchess was guest of honour at a party thrown by her friend and fellow podcaster Emma Grede, the British-born CEO of fashion brand Good American and a founding partner of Kim Kardashian’s Skims line.
Experts have predicted another new venture is on the cards, potentially in couture or cosmetics.
She also recently lectured on life as a ‘high-profile business founder’ as one of the stars of Fortune’s ‘Most Powerful Women’ summit in the US capital.
And when Meghan popped up at Paris Fashion Week, it only ramped up claims she may move into clothing. One source predicted: ‘Fashion is where she will aim her focus now.’
Last weekend, Meghan attended the George Zajfen Tennis Tournament in LA in memory of her best friend’s son – an event that appears to be becoming an annual tradition for the Sussexes.
Meghan stepped out in a £3,046 white halterneck button-down dress by Carolina Herrera.
The tennis tournament was organised by Meghan’s best friend, Kelly McKee Zajfen, who shared photographs of the Duchess on her Instagram, and Alliance for Children’s Rights.
