She’s a fitness guru known for her diet discipline and gruelling workouts.

And it looks like Michelle Bridges’ son Axel is following in his mother’s footsteps, if The Biggest Loser star’s social media posts are anything to go by.

Posting to Instagram on Saturday, Michelle uploaded a photo of five-year-old Axel’s very first weight bar on Saturday.

Starting him early! It looks like Michelle Bridges’ son Axel, five, is following in his mum’s footsteps, based on The Biggest Loser star’s social media posts. Michelle and Axel pictured

Uploading a photo of the bar sitting on the carpet, Michelle wrote: ‘This is Axel’s weight bar’  before revealing the 2kg weight set was part of her own athletics range.

A later Instagram Story showed Michelle getting her boy into good eating habits, with Axel chowing sown on a bowl of salad while watching an iPad.

‘Screen time is green time’ the fitness guru captioned the post.

The sweet posts come after Bridges attracted vile trolling from the anti-vax contingent of the so-called ‘wellness’ community for getting her Covid shot.

The former Biggest Loser star last month shared a photo to Instagram of her arm with a Band-Aid over the injection site, and wrote: ‘Happy to have done my bit #vaccinationdone.’

While most of her followers applauded her for doing the right thing, it didn’t take long for the comments section to be hijacked by QAnon trolls.

‘The globalists thank you for helping to reduce the population,’ one disgusting troll wrote, spouting a debunked conspiracy theory about the vaccine.

Another sick keyboard warrior asked: ‘Didn’t you sell your soul to the devil?’

One Covidiot said she was ‘shocked’ Michelle got the jab and that she ‘fell for it’, while another said: ‘Disappointing. You are the last person I would expect this from.’

A third follower made the disgusting suggestion that the 50-year-old celebrity trainer should ‘share her pap smear next time’.

The coronavirus vaccine is a vital measure being taken to protect the community from the spread of the virus.

Covid-19 can cause serious illness, ongoing health problems and even death.

But by getting one of the safe and effective vaccines, you significantly reduce your chances of becoming seriously ill with Covid.

How effective is the AstraZeneca vaccine?

A U.S. trial done in March reportedly found that the AstraZeneca vaccine is 100 per cent effective at keeping people out of hospital and stopping them dying of the disease.

An extra trial of the vaccine in America found it was more effective than it was in the UK research – preventing 79 per cent of all symptomatic infections – and nobody got seriously ill.

The trial – which involved 32,000 people in total – also confirmed the vaccine doesn’t increase the risk of blood clots, which is a confidence boost after safety concerns in Europe.

The Pfizer vaccine is in short supply in Australia and it is not yet available to people under 40.

Instead, younger Australians can get the abundant AstraZeneca vaccine via their GPs because the government is prioritising Pfizer jabs for people aged 40 to 60.

On Monday, NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian confirmed the state was in a race to reach six million vaccinations by the end of August, to allow easing of some of Sydney’s harsh lockdown restrictions.

‘We are tracking well to hit our 6 million target. We are now in our 40s, in terms of the percentage range, in terms of people with two doses in New South Wales, or at least one dose,’ the Premier said.

‘So we are sticking to our targets, and I am keen to get to 6 million jabs by the end of August, because that will provide us opportunities to consider what life looks like in September.

‘We are really keen, to really sprint. This is a race.’

On Friday, Ms Berejiklian announced that 70 per cent of the NSW population should be vaccinated by the end of October.
