Miley Cyrus was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this past Friday, but her mother, Tish, may have hinted at another significant achievement in Miley’s life.
The 33-year-old singer, whose engagement to Maxx Morando was confirmed late last year, was supported by Tish, Morando and other friends and family members at the glitzy ceremony in Los Angeles.
During the event, Miley posed for photos with her mother and her elder sister, Brandi, beside her newly unveiled star. In a surprising moment, Tish stepped aside and announced, “We’re going to bring the husband,” sparking speculation.
Both Miley and Tish gestured towards Morando, implying that he might have transitioned from being her fiancé to her husband, even though no official announcement had been made.
Miley and Morando were later seen cuddling for the cameras, although neither sported wedding bands.

The couple, who first connected on a blind date in 2021, have largely kept their relationship under wraps.
Having previously been married to actor Liam Hemsworth, Miley has occasionally stepped out with Morando, her fellow musician, for public events over the years.
In March, Miley and Morando cozied up at the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special in Hollywood at the time.
‘He’s very similar to me. We just don’t take life too seriously,’ she told Harper’s Bazaar back in 2024, before later sharing that he ‘inspires me so much.’
She has also been open about their six-year age gap and told the outlet, ‘He looks at life really differently than I do.
‘He grew up with a laptop. I had a desktop computer that I shared with my brothers and sisters…Honestly, he’s raised our dog off Reddit.’
The Wrecking Ball hitmaker added, ‘I’m like, “Are you sure we’re supposed to be doing this?” And he’s like, “On Reddit it says blah, blah, blah.” He’s very similar to me. We just don’t take life too seriously.’

A few months earlier, a source told Us Weekly that Miley was considering ‘eloping’ with Morando instead of having ‘another wedding.’

The insider added that the couple have plans to ‘celebrate their own way’ with ‘something fun and meaningful that feels very special to them.’
