Mom influencer kills her family in murder-suicide hours after ominous final post

A 33-year-old aspiring influencer killed four members of her family before taking her own life, hours after posting a disturbing warning that she was about to show her “nasty side.”

Cindy Tamez died by suicide after fatally shooting her partner, 28-year-old Leodegario Moya, and two of her sons, Christian, 12, and Bruno, 11, at their home in Montemorelos, Mexico, on Wednesday, prosecutors told El Financiero.

Authorities said Tamez then left the property with her youngest son, Gustavo. Attorney General Javier Flores Saldivar said she later killed the 2-year-old and took her own life inside her Jeep.

Investigators recovered a .38-caliber handgun from the vehicle. Flores Saldivar said shell casings found at the scene where Tamez died matched those recovered in connection with the victims discovered inside the home.

Detectives are examining Tamez’s final social media activity, including a troubling TikTok video posted just hours before the killings to her roughly 70,000 followers.

“Not everyone knows my nasty side,” she wrote in a caption accompanying footage filmed inside a moving car.

“I’d burn down my own house just to watch my neighbour’s go up in flames, even knowing I’d get f–ked over too.”

Other posts appeared to center on retaliation against people she claimed had wronged her, describing an intense desire to seek revenge.

“I can take it, but I can give it back twice as hard, so don’t think I give a f*ck – I can be twice as much of a c–t as you,” she wrote in one post.

In another message, she said: “I’m probably just as much of a piece of sh*t as you, or even worse, but I never screw someone over unless they’ve screwed me over first.”

Tamez, whose legal name was Cinthia Abigail Tamez Rivera, was reportedly involved in lending money and trading goods such as watches, cars, chains and mobile phones.

Authorities are now investigating whether those business dealings or related disputes played any role in the deaths.
