Paige Spiranac, often recognized for her bold social media presence, recently found herself in an unexpected situation when one of her posts received a warning for an unusual reason.
At 33, Spiranac has crafted an impressive online following, boasting 11.6 million followers across her platforms, with Instagram accounting for four million of them.
Despite never competing on the prestigious LPGA Tour, Spiranac has carved out her niche in the golf world through her playful and provocative online content, making her one of the sport’s most influential figures.
Interestingly, her latest post diverged from her typical revealing style but still ended up being flagged.
The former college golfer recently uploaded a video to X, showcasing her skills as she practiced her swing at the driving range on a Monday morning.
For this session, Spiranac opted for a more conservative look, donning a floral print dress paired with a pastel pink long-sleeved shirt, keeping her attire modest while her athletic legs were the main feature on display.

Yet, despite the family-friendly attire, Spiranac’s post still managed to attract censorship from X with the social media platform slapped with an age restriction.
The age warning stunned fans with many questioning why it was labeled as adult content.
‘Why is this ID’ed as ‘Adult Content’. I mean, you are a grown-up and so am I, but I’d say that’s actually a little more conservative than most everything else you post…,’ one baffled fan questioned.
Spiranac herself even poked fun at the bizarre warning, joking that the impressiveness of her swing was to blame.
‘I know my swing is so pure it’s sexual but to have an age restriction on this post where I’m the most covered up I’ve ever been is wild lol,’ she wrote.
Often viewed as a polarizing figure in the world of golf – especially in the women’s game – Spiranac has been forced to endure her fair share of criticism.
However, brushing it off, she has become a trailblazer, with her numbers surpassing even those of reigning Masters champion Rory McIlroy or 15-time major winner Tiger Woods.
However, Spiranac recently admitted that her rise to fame hasn’t been easy. Speaking to Golf Monthly earlier this year, she confessed that she has often felt misunderstood and been left trapped by her bombshell online persona.
‘It’s hard to dive into all the intricacies of how this has come to be and how I feel about it, because I can see it from a feminist perspective, but I can also feel trapped sometimes. They all work together,’ she said, when asked if she feels that her social media aesthetic constricts her.

Spiranac explained that part of that complexity is the scrutiny from strangers over aspects of her appearance that are out of her control.
She shared that taking ownership of her body and her looks by crafting her online persona has helped to empower her.
‘It was very empowering for me to take control over my image and of my body,’ she told the outlet, ‘because it can be quite exhausting for people to judge you based on the way that you were shaped.
‘You know, I can’t help my chest size. I can’t help these certain attributes of myself. And it made me almost feel dirty or ashamed of my skin and the body that I was in.’
