In an unexpected celestial spectacle, the aurora borealis graced the skies over the Tri-Cities area of Tennessee and Virginia on Tuesday night. Though its colorful dance was fleeting and at times barely visible to the unaided eye, the Northern Lights left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to catch a glimpse.
