Princess Leonor of Spain made her first official visit to the Palacio del Gobierno de Navarra on Friday.

The 19-year-old accompanied her parents Queen Letizia, 52, and King Felipe, 57, on the visit to the parliament building in the northern province of the country.

Heir presumptive Leonor, also recognized as the Princess of Asturias, seemed to have drawn inspiration from her mother’s fashion sense for this event.

She donned a professional pinstripe navy suit with an oversized blazer and wide-legged trousers.

Leonor paired the ensemble with a pair of pointed, sling back heels, and a matching navy handbag.

Meanwhile, she opted to wear her long, light brown tresses loose, with her glossy locks falling past her shoulders.

The teenager completed her ensemble with a natural make-up look, opting for a dewy base, light eye-shadow, and a natural lip.

Meanwhile, Queen Letizia also wore a trouser suit, hers in maroon, which she paired with low-heeled black pumps and a red handbag.

The royal also opted to wear her chestnut tresses loose, completing her look with her classic, natural make-up style.

Leonor is currently undergoing her three-year military training: she embarked on her final year earlier this month.

As the heir to the throne, Leonor will eventually assume the title of Commander in Chief of the armed forces, in addition to being the Queen of Spain, necessitating three years in each defense sector.

In January, she boarded the Juan Sebastián de Elcano, a Spanish Navy training ship.

In June, the royal and her fellow cadets sailed to New York aboard the vessel. Leonor wasn’t reported to have returned to Spain by ship but instead flew back to board the Spanish Navy’s guided missile frigate Blas de Lezo, where she was set to complete a crucial component of her naval training.

The royal looked every inch a poised naval cadet as she arrived in the States, blending, in her crisp white uniform complete with black insignia.

She took off her hat and saluted onlookers as she stood proudly aboard the ship as it arrived in the US.

Leonor is currently undertaking her aeronautical training, arriving at the General Air and Space Academy in San Javier on September 1.

Leonor penned a message in the Academy’s Book of Honour, which read: ‘Today I commence the third stage of my military training at this General Air and Space Academy. I am eager to start this course, during which I will have the chance to begin my aeronautical training and, with my classmates, learn the practical and theoretical facets of military aviation.’

After being found ‘flight fit’ before the Summer, the princess is taking a number of theoretical classes, before she takes to the skies – with reports saying that by Christmas, it’s estimated that she will have started flying.

It comes several months after King Felipe and Queen Letizia took legal action to protect Princess Leonor’s privacy in May this year – the first time they have done so.

According to reports, the alleged invasion of privacy took place in Chile, during Leonor’s free time away from the navy training onboard the Juan Sebastian de Elcano that she was undertaking at the time.

Following her outing, photographs of Leonor in a Chilean shopping centre surfaced, prompting a report in Lecturas that claimed that the royals considered the images a breach of Leonor’s privacy.

Chilean news outlet biobiochile.cl further claimed that the Spanish Embassy in Chile filed a complaint with the National Police regarding the photographs, which showed Leonor inside a shopping centre in Punta Arenas.

The Spanish Royal Family claimed that a staff member responsible for monitoring the shopping centre’s security cameras granted a Chilean media outlet access to the images and thus breached data protection regulations in Chile, the outlet said.

The report further claimed that the palace considered the images of Leonor to be ‘unacceptable’.
