Reality TV Star Morgan Stewart’s Beverly Hills Home Targeted in Repeat Burglaries

Beverly Hills, long seen as a haven for wealth and security, is not feeling so untouchable anymore.

As concerns over crime continue to ripple across Los Angeles, reality TV personality Morgan Stewart says her own family has been caught in the middle of it — despite living behind the kind of protections many assume would keep burglars away.

Speaking on Friday’s episode of the “Therapuss” podcast, Stewart opened up about a series of break-ins at her home, alleging that thieves repeatedly targeted the property and escaped with high-end valuables even with private security in place.

Among the most frustrating losses, she said, was a highly coveted Hermès Birkin bag she had purchased in France just days before it disappeared.

“Bought it in France, brought it home, stolen out of my house two days later,” Stewart said, recalling how quickly the luxury purchase was gone.

According to Stewart, the burglars got inside after a security guard fell asleep, then broke through the door to her office before moving deeper into the home and targeting the couple’s bedroom.

“They went into our bedroom and ransacked my husband’s watches,” she said.

Stewart said the intruders managed to steal several rare handbags, though in a puzzling twist, they left untouched a glass display case filled with other designer bags.

Stewart believes they assumed the case was alarmed.

In another break-in, she said, security intercepted the burglars on a nearby hillside as they fled with her jewelry. The repeated invasions have forced her to transform her property into something resembling “Fort Knox.”

The celebrity said she the crimes upset her — but she also painted a grim picture of life in one of Southern California’s wealthiest enclaves.

“I was just furious. I was angry. I’m pissed. It’s a violation,” Stewart said.

She added that the break-ins have become so routine that they’re almost expected.

“This is happening a lot in the area, unfortunately, it’s happening all the time,” she pointed out. “Everyone I know has gotten robbed.”

Other celebrities have lamented the occurrence of crime in LA for years. Superstar Goldie Hawn in 2024, for instance, declared “L.A. is terrible” after several home break-ins over the course of just four months.

Hollywood was on high alert last year after a spate of home invasions, crafty break-ins and the recent tragic double-murder of “American Idol” music supervisor Robin Kaye and her husband Thomas Deluca inside their Encino home, at the hands of an apparent robber.

Brad Pitt’s home in a gated community was broken into; thieves climbed a fence to get on the property and ransacked it. In 2017, Kendall Jenner had hundreds of thousands of dollars of jewelry stolen from her, in what was reported to be an inside job.

“The unfortunate reality is that the more you have in terms of wealth and notoriety, the more you become a target,” Jeff Zisner, president and CEO of Aegis Security and Investigations, told Fox News.

Robbery statistics have seen some improvement last year in Los Angeles after a spike in 2022, according to police data.
