The United States military announced on Wednesday that the body of a second soldier, who went missing during military exercises in Morocco, has been found.

Specialist Mariyah Symone Collington, a 19-year-old from Tavares, Florida, tragically fell from a cliff while on a recreational hike in Morocco, becoming the second U.S. soldier to meet such a fate.

Collington, who served as an air and missile defense crewmember, was part of Charlie Battery, 5th Battalion, 4th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, under the 10th Army Air and Missile Defense Command. This information was confirmed in a statement by the U.S. Army Europe and Africa.

Last week, the remains of 1st Lieutenant Kendrick Lamont Key Jr., an officer specializing in Air Defense Artillery, were also recovered. The military had previously reported his tragic death.

The disappearance of both soldiers was noted on May 2, following their participation in African Lion, the annual multinational military exercises hosted in Morocco.
