A police report obtained by Our News Outlet identifies the business management firm accused by RJ Mitte of mishandling or stealing money from his Breaking Bad earnings.
The development follows comments Mitte made on the Iced Coffee Hour podcast in 2025, when he said he had lost money but stopped short of naming the business manager involved.
According to the report, Mitte hired Harrison Business Management, or HBM, in 2011, as his Breaking Bad profile was rising. The firm was tasked with overseeing his finances, including acting income, household expenses, taxes and other obligations.
By September 2015, however, the relationship had deteriorated. Mitte and his mother, Dyna Mitte, filed a theft complaint with the Santa Monica Police Department alleging that money had been taken from him.
Detective Richard Elias classified the complaint as “Theft/Other.” The report described the case as involving a known suspect accused of stealing money from a business client.
There is no indication that criminal charges were ever filed against Lisa Harrison, the accountant who owned and operated HBM.

A police report alleges that RJ Mitte’s mother accused the business operated by his former manager, Lisa Harrison, of taking the late actor’s earnings during the height of his Breaking Bad fame.

Mitte hired entertainment accountant Lisa Harrison, pictured with her attorney husband David Brody, in 2011 to oversee his finances.
Mitte, an actor and disability rights advocate who was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at age three, was found dead at his home in Brownsville, Texas, last Monday.
He was 34 and best known for playing Walter White Jr. on Breaking Bad. Several sources familiar with his affairs told Our News Outlet that Harrison continued managing his finances during the Emmy-winning drama’s final seasons, which concluded in 2013.
Our News Outlet also examined a 2013 tax document that names HBM as an agent for Mitte’s company, RFM3 Services.
Harrison, 52, has not been criminally charged or sued in connection with Mitte’s allegations.
Sources said Mitte was earning as much as $500,000 a year during his late teens through acting, modeling and public-speaking work.
Dyna Mitte, now 61, is understood to have contacted Santa Monica police in late 2015 after several checks issued by RFM3 Services were returned unpaid.

RJ Mitte and his mother, Dyna Mitte, reported the alleged theft to Santa Monica police in September 2015, claiming that his business manager had taken money from him.

Dyna Mitte is understood to have contacted Santa Monica police after checks issued by RJ Mitte’s company, RFM3 Services, bounced in late 2015.
In a heavily redacted report, Detective Elias wrote that he met the alleged victim at the Santa Monica Police Department station on September 22, 2015.
The report states that the individual was accompanied by his mother and talent manager, whose names were redacted.
According to the document, Mitte said he had hired Harrison Business Management LLC in 2011 to oversee every financial aspect of his acting business, RFM3 Services Inc. That included his earnings, personal bills, rent, insurance and taxes.
The report adds that Mitte had instructed the firm to establish a strict budget designed to build his savings while limiting debt and other financial liabilities.
‘Other than the use of his personal debit or credit cards, [REDACTED] was not involved in any large cash withdrawals, nor was he involved in any investments or real estate requiring large cash withdrawals.’
Detective Elias was unavailable to answer any questions about the report because he has since retired and could not be reached.
Sources close to Mitte’s family said they also explored the option of a civil suit, going as far as consulting lawyers, but decided it would be too expensive and time-consuming.

Sources say Mitte – best known for playing Walter White Jr in Breaking Bad alongside Bryan Cranston and Anna Gunn – was earning up to $500,000 per year in his late teens from acting, modeling and public speaking gigs

Instead, Mitte hired new accountants to sort out his finances and pay off tax liens totaling $330,000.
Mitte was raised primarily by Dyna, who adopted him weeks after he was born.
After she was left paralyzed in a car accident and split from Mitte’s adoptive father, he devoted his life to helping care for his mom and younger sister, Lacey, now 22.
At age 13, Mitte took classes with Hollywood acting coach Addison Witt and, within a year, landed the role of teacher-turned-meth kingpin Walter White’s son in Breaking Bad – hailed by some as the greatest TV show of all time.
‘Mitte was extraordinarily generous. He would pay for lavish dinners and take joy in picking up the tab and supporting his family,’ said a former staffer.
‘He had absolute trust in the people around him, so it doesn’t surprise me that someone took advantage of him.

‘He just was the sweetest boy. It’s heartbreaking to lose him.’
Harrison, a US Coast Guard veteran, ran HBM out of a ninth-floor office on Los Angeles’s Wilshire Boulevard, later using the name Hollywood Business Management.
The firm had stopped operating by February 2015, but she continued to run various wealth and asset management outfits, among them Coastal Accounting & Tax.
In 2018, Harrison was accused of defrauding a sports merchandise business out of $187,652 in a civil suit filed in Los Angeles County.
According to that suit, Adam Sudman said he hired Harrison three years earlier to do bookkeeping and consulting for his start-up, ProTrending.
His suit alleged that Harrison dipped into company accounts to pay herself monthly amounts between $2,000 and $19,000 without submitting invoices or asking for approval.
Harrison filed a motion to compel arbitration, disputing the allegations and claiming Sudman ignored their consulting agreement and that she had not been paid her $10,000 monthly fee and was owed $100,000.
The case was settled through arbitration, with Harrison agreeing to hand over $60,000 and both sides paying their own costs. The award made no finding of fraud.
Harrison was represented by her husband, David Brody, who is general counsel for his own real estate firm and previously worked as an in-house attorney for the LA Clippers.
The couple were pictured cuddling up, with Harrison flashing a large diamond ring, in a photo posted to her since-deleted Facebook page.
They were also spotted at a glitzy 2023 showbiz event hosted by Swiss watchmaker Vacheron Constantin.
Attempts to contact Harrison via phone, text and email, as well as at her $2 million ranch-style home in affluent Thousand Oaks, California, were unsuccessful.
Reached by phone, her husband David told Our News Outlet: ‘You are barking way up the wrong tree. We are not having this conversation.
‘No comment. She didn’t do anything wrong.’
