Over the weekend, Selena Gomez was spotted making a rare appearance in a swimsuit during an all-girls retreat at the luxurious Rosewood resort, Las Ventanas al Paraíso, located in San José del Cabo.

The 33-year-old singer, who proudly embraces her third-generation Mexican-American heritage, was seen flaunting her 5ft 5in frame in a strapless, light pink-patterned one-piece swimsuit. The attire subtly revealed the area where she once had a praying hands tattoo on her thigh, which has since been removed.

Gomez appeared noticeably slimmer compared to her 2023 vacation in Cabo, which she spent with her friends Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz, humorously referred to as her ‘throuple’ partners.

During her beachside retreat, the founder of Rare Beauty protected her fair skin from the sun with a stylish beige sunhat while taking in the stunning views of the Sea of Cortez from the pristine beachfront.

Joining Gomez on the sandy shores were two friends, one dressed in a cranberry-colored one-piece swimsuit and the other in a classic black bikini.

Later in the day, the Cannes Best Actress awardee sought the comfort of a shaded cabana where she relaxed with two additional friends, enjoying a serene escape from the sun.

Gomez and the Only Murders in the Building producing team are nominated for the Danny Thomas Award for outstanding producer of episodic television comedy at the 37th Producers Guild of America Awards, which happen this Saturday in LA.

Gomez and her OMITB castmates will then compete for the outstanding performance by an ensemble in a comedy series trophy at the newly renamed 32nd Actor Awards, which air March 1 on Netflix.

The talented group faces heavy competition against the ensembles of Apple TV’s The Studio, HBO Max’s Hacks, FX’s The Bear and ABC’s Abbott Elementary.

Last October, Hulu renewed Steve Martin and John Hoffman’s who-done-it comedy for a sixth season, and Gomez is said to earn well over $600,000/episode to produce and star as artist Mabel Mora.

She will also reportedly portray 11-time Grammy winner Linda Ronstadt in David O. Russell’s untitled biopic produced by her former manager John Boylan.
