Sofía Vergara and Imagine Dragons Singer Dan Reynolds Spark Dating Rumors

Sofia Vergara and Dan Reynolds have fueled romance speculation after being seen together following their recent breakups.

Vergara, 54, was previously married to actor Joe Manganiello, 49. Their past relationship has returned to the spotlight after Manganiello made explosive claims about the actress in his new memoir, Bloodlines.

Reynolds, the 39-year-old Imagine Dragons frontman, had been dating Minka Kelly, 46, for four years before the couple split earlier this month.

Now, Vergara and Reynolds have been spotted sharing a meal in Los Angeles over the weekend.

According to TMZ, the two also attended Doja Cat’s birthday celebration together.

Sources told the outlet that Vergara and Reynolds appeared to behave like a couple at the party. They were reportedly seen sitting close together in a corner and engaging in what looked like a flirtatious conversation.

The pair began the evening with dinner at Cipriani in Beverly Hills on Friday. They were joined by Anastasia Soare and an unidentified male companion, bringing the group to four people.

Vergara chose a dark dress with a low-cut neckline for the outing, wearing her brunette hair loose in a sleek, straight style.

Reynolds opted for a more relaxed look in a dark navy T-shirt that complemented Vergara’s evening ensemble.

During the dinner, the actress and singer were reportedly seen briefly holding hands.

They later headed to Doja Cat’s 31st birthday party together.

Reports say the pair made a discreet departure shortly after midnight.

Still, a source told People in a story published Monday that Vergara and Reynolds simply met up with mutual friends for “a friendly group dinner.”

Vergara was previously married to Manganiello for eight years before they called it quits in July 2023 and later finalized their divorce in April 2024.  

She and her past love life recently made headlines after her ex Manganiello made accusations towards her in his new memoir.

In Bloodlines, he claimed that she allegedly refused to hug him while he was dealing with a severe autoimmune disease. 

He opened up about going through a life-threatening health crisis for seven years and has been sharing harrowing photos via social media regarding his experience.

In his book, Manganiello claimed Vergara’s ex caused his mystery illness with a ‘voodoo curse.’

The Magic Mike actor admitted that he theorized that the alleged curse might have been put on him by Vergara’s former partner, Nick Loeb, who engaged in a lengthy court battle with Vergara for years after their 2014 split regarding the fate of two fertilized embryos created while they were together.

Manganiello also claimed that when he fell ill, his then-wife Vergara allegedly ‘refused to hug him even when he begged.’ 

However, he also credited her with saving his life by authorizing the emergency surgery that was performed to remove part of his intestines.

He alleged the union became ‘devoid of any emotionality whatsoever’ as his illness took its toll.

Manganiello said in his new memoir that his health began to go downhill shortly after his 2015 wedding to Vergara.

Manganiello, who believes he is ‘lucky to be alive,’ said pain medication usually prescribed for Crohn’s disease and colitis did not work, and he was ‘forced’ to turn to hydrocodone pills, fentanyl patches and marijuana, despite being sober for 13 years.

In the tome, Manganiello said his pain was so severe, he considered taking his own life in 2019, leading him to adopt his chihuahua Bubbles.

Manganiello claims that as he desperately searched for treatment, his marriage became ‘devoid of any emotionality whatsoever’ and alleged Vergara ‘refused to hug him even when he begged.’ He also claimed Vergara ridiculed him over Bubbles.

‘I had to give my gun away because I kept thinking about it, and then the dog came. I went from being the patient to the caretaker,’ he said.

Manganiello also again refuted Vergara’s prior claims to the Spanish publication El País that she and Manganiello called it quits because he wanted kids and she did not.

He claims his illness led him to give up on starting a family with Vergara after failed IVF attempts, which led them to consider egg donors, with the actor saying he ‘didn’t want to die and leave Vergara with a child who wasn’t biologically hers.’

Manganiello’s fantastical theories came to light as sources claimed that his ex-wife Vergara — who recently shared a cryptic post about ‘narcissistic’ men — didn’t get any advance notice about what he planned to write about her in his memoir.

Her new rumored partner, Reynolds, recently went through a breakup with his girlfriend of four years, splitting with Kelly earlier this month.  

Reynolds was last publicly spotted with Kelly in May earlier this year when they made their red carpet debut at the 2026 Museum of Contemporary Art Gala.
