Three teenage boys accused of sexually assaulting a girl in Sydney over the weekend allegedly followed her to a property before subjecting her to a prolonged group sexual assault, police are expected to allege.
The three boys, each aged 17, are accused of sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl at a home in the Macarthur region on August 15.
It is understood that two of the teenagers attend St Gregory’s College, an elite private school in Gregory Hills near Campbelltown.
The Marist Catholic school, which features the motto “You will reap what you sow” on its website, charges more than $12,350 a year for students in Years 11 and 12.
In a letter seen by Our News Outlet on Thursday, principal Matthew Brennan told parents he was “very sorry” to inform them that two students were due to appear in court over an alleged sexual assault.
“We express our deep concern for the young woman police have said was the victim of the alleged sexual assault and her family and loved ones,” Mr Brennan wrote.
“Sexual violence has no place in our community, and the College stands with all victims of sexual violence. It is abhorrent what is alleged by police and is the antithesis of what we stand for and the values that we embrace.
“These are very serious allegations and the judicial process must now be allowed to take its course free of any commentary.”

With the trio set to face the NSW Children’s Court today, police will allege that the boys had been at a local football match prior to the assault, before underage drinking at a pub with the girl, the Daily Telegraph reports.
When the girl decided to head home after starting to feel unwell, police will allege two of the boys initially went with her before a third later joined them, with all alleged to have been involved in the sexual assault for differing lengths of time.

It comes just one week after a separate incident, where three teenage boys were charged with the alleged sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl in a Bondi Junction alleyway.
The boys, all students from elite Sydney private school Scots College, allegedly assaulted the girl on July 22 after the group had been drinking together.
