Sydney Sweeney is reportedly launching a new lingerie line with the help of billionaire Jeff Bezos.

The Euphoria actress, 27, stirred curiosity when she attended the extravagant wedding of Amazon founder, 61, and Lauren Sánchez, 55, in Venice, Italy, even though she isn’t personally acquainted with them.

But it seems the new project might partly be why, as Jeff and his wife have reportedly ‘invested’ in her venture, according to Us Weekly.

A source disclosed that the Emmy-nominated actress is ‘about to unveil a new lingerie collection,’ which coincides with speculation about her becoming a Bond Girl.

‘This has been a huge project for her and something she’s been working on for the last year,’ the source added.

This upcoming lingerie brand has the support of Ben Schwerin, a partner at the private equity firm Coatue, as reported by Puck. The firm recently received a $1 billion investment from Bezos and tech mogul Michael Dell through their Coatue Innovation Fund.

Bezos’ wedding was quite the star-studded affair with the guest list including everyone from Orlando Bloom to Oprah to Kim Kardashian, to name just a few.

Sydney was one of the more surprising celebs spotted at the event, and had many scratching their heads since she doesn’t appear to be close friends with either the bride or the groom.

The star made headlines during the festivities by partying with the likes of Tom Brady and recently-single Orlando Bloom.

Still, her inclusion at the lavish $50 million wedding left some baffled, though another recent business collaboration sheds some light on why she was actually there.

It seems Sweeney’s arrival was a show of respect for her future boss Bezos, as per Page Six.

Back in March, Sweeney signed on to star in the video game adaptation of the recent hit Split Fiction.

The adaptation will be directed by Jon M. Chu (Wicked) and written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (Deadpool & Wolverine).

Then in early June, Amazon MGM Studios picked up the project, which seemingly lead to an invite extended to Sweeney for Bezos’ wedding.

The Emmy-nominated actress is 'launching a lingerie line very soon,' a source told Us Weekly on Monday. 'This has been a huge project for her and something she¿s been working on for the last year,' the insider added

Sydney's invitation to Bezos's wedding also appears to be linked to another recent business deal. In March, she was cast as the star of the video game adaptation Split Fiction. Then, in early June, Amazon MGM Studios acquired the project

A source admitted Sweeney, ‘is not friends with either one of them,’ though adding she, ‘came to pay respect to the ‘boss,’ just like in the old days of Hollywood.’

The fantasy/sci-fi game Split Fiction follows authors Mio and Zoe who become trapped within the worlds they have written.

It’s unclear which of the two main characters Sweeney will portray, with Amazon said to be ‘actively looking’ to cast her co-star.

Her affiliation with Jeff, who has creative control of the next James Bond movie, also appears to have brought her closer to one of the most esteemed roles a Hollywood star could ask for – that of a Bond Girl.

A movie source said: ‘Sydney is the top name on the casting sheet for Bond. Denis believes she is hugely talented, as well as having an alluring appeal to younger generations, vital in modernising the franchise…

‘They’ve hung out together a lot and he has admired her stratospheric rise. Plus she has the quality of being athletic and able to perform physical scenes, as well as being feminine and following in the legacy of Bond girls.’

Though Sydney is primarily known for her acting career, she’s also been growing a business empire.

Earlier in May she collaborated with men’s grooming brand Dr. Squatch to launch a limited-edition soap bar called ‘Bathwater Bliss.’

According to the brand, the soap contains actual droplets of Sydney’s used bathwater – which some fans found ‘weird’ and ‘gross.’

She also serves as a global ambassador for brands including Laneige skincare, Kérastase haircare, HeyDude footwear, and Bai beverages.

Sweeney will be returning to HBO’s Euphoria as Cassie Howard, and she recently starred in Apple TV Plus’ Echo Valley with Julianne Moore.

She is also playing trailblazing female boxer Christy Martin in an upcoming biopic that is in post-production and expected to be released later this year.

Sweeney has an estimated net worth of $40 million and in 2023 she made Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list.

Sweeney is currently single, coming off her engagement with producer and businessman Jonathan Davino.

They started dating in 2018 and he popped the question in 2022, though they broke up and called off the wedding in March 2025.

Sources told Daily Mail that they were going through a ‘rough patch’ and they were trying to ‘reassess’ their relationship.

Another report said that Sweeney felt ‘overwhelmed’ by the wedding and she ‘didn’t feel right about it.’
