In a surprising twist, Sydney Sweeney captivated audiences with her latest appearance in the new Euphoria trailer, released this past Saturday. The preview, which builds anticipation for the show’s third season premiering on April 12, has left fans buzzing about her unconventional costume choice.
The 28-year-old actress, who embodies the character Cassie in the popular HBO Max series, appears to be exploring a new chapter in her character’s life. In the trailer, Cassie seems to have ventured into the world of OnlyFans modeling after completing high school, adding an intriguing layer to her storyline.
Sweeney’s appearance in the teaser is both bold and provocative. She is seen in a sheer pink top paired with white bottoms, her look completed by curly hair styled into playful pigtails. To further emphasize the baby motif, she dons a pink pacifier, striking a suggestive pose on a yellow couch.
This unexpected scene quickly ignited conversations across social media platforms like Reddit and X, where viewers shared their bewildered reactions. One user humorously admitted, “Had to rewind the baby outfit scene because surely I wasn’t seeing what I thought I’d just seen???” Another chimed in, suggesting, “Sydney girl, you can say no to scenes,” while a third simply exclaimed, “wtf the baby scene??”

The ceremony took place outdoors and Nate could be seen waiting at the end of the aisle next to an arrangement of pink florals.
Some of the guests in attendance included Rue (Zendaya) and Jules Vaughn (Hunter Schafer).
‘You are my masterpiece,’ Cassie’s mom said as she walked her daughter down the aisle. ‘Go get him.’
Sweeney’s character was seen once again as she donned a fitted, cheetah-print catsuit while meeting Maddie (Alexa Demie) – despite their falling out in high school.
‘You look good b***h,’ Maddie told Cassie with a smile.
The new trailer also kicked off with Zendaya’s character explaining that she is working in management at a strip club.
Her voiceover continued with, ‘Throughout the history of America, there have been windows of time where anyone could strike it rich.’

Another moment showed Rue talking with another character who told her, ‘You do this thing. Might be another promotion in it for you.’
She then caught a wad of cash that was tossed at her and flashed a mischievous smile.
The trailer became more dramatic as Nate was involved in multiple fights, Maddie loudly pounded on a door and Rue ran through an underground tunnel while being shot at.
The clip came to an end as Zendaya’s character sat in a chair and said, ‘Man, I miss high school.’
A voice off screen replied, ‘I don’t.’
Late last year in December, Sweeney teased what viewers can expect of her character in the upcoming season of Euphoria.
During an appearance on The Tonight Show, the star simply offered two words: ‘Self discovery.’
The actress also told Empire Magazine last year, ‘I have such a spot in my heart for Cassie, and I hold her really close and dear. She is crazy.

‘She makes so many mistakes. She’s flawed on so many levels, but she does it all from a place of love. It could be a sad version of love, as well. It’s so much fun to play a character that is as crazy as she is.
‘Sam is such a brilliant filmmaker to work with, because I’ll read something, then I’ll call him, and I’m like, “Let’s go crazier.” And he’s like, “I’m all in.” And this season is unhinged,’ she added of the show’s creator Sam Levinson.
The third season has already been torched with early reviews, with the show being labeled as an ‘unhinged disaster’ yet ‘pretty uneventful.’
The first episode of the third and final season of Euphoria is set to premiere on HBO Max on April 12.
