A 42-year-old man was stabbed to death during a brazen daylight attack on a desolate Bronx street Thursday morning, police said.
Just before 8 a.m., a man dressed in black assaulted the victim outside a dialysis center on Park Ave. near E. 167th St. in Morrisania, stabbing him in the lower abdomen, according to police.
The small street abuts a railway line, with one side of it fenced off and overgrown with weeds and shrubs.
The victim was quickly taken by EMS to Lincoln Hospital, but unfortunately, he did not survive. Authorities have not yet released his name as they are in the process of contacting his relatives.
The stabber ran off and was last seen heading east on E. 167th St.
No arrests have been made. A motive for the stabbing was not immediately disclosed.
Cops were scouring the area for surveillance footage that could help them identify the stabber.
