Taylor Swift jets in from LA awards night to Kelce's Chiefs game

Taylor Swift kept her packed weekend moving on Sunday, making her way to Arrowhead Stadium less than a day after appearing at Los Angeles’ star-studded Academy Museum Gala.

The 14-time Grammy Award winner watched from a private luxury suite as her husband, Travis Kelce, and the Kansas City Chiefs faced the Los Angeles Chargers.

Dressed in a striking all-red look, Swift greeted guests in the suite, including WNBA standout Caitlin Clark and her mother-in-law, Donna Kelce.

Swift sat alongside Clark and Este Haim while following the game, with her dazzling wedding ring clearly visible as she supported Kelce in Kansas City.

Her appearance at Arrowhead Stadium came only hours after she attended the exclusive Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday night.

Swift commanded attention on the gala red carpet in a strapless, pale-blue Dior gown that accentuated her petite waist.

The 36-year-old singer also revealed a shorter hairstyle, wearing her curls around her face with one side casually tucked behind her ear.

She also narrowly avoided an uncomfortable red-carpet encounter with Kim Kardashian, 45, amid their long-running and highly publicized feud.

Later that evening, Swift took the stage to perform several fan favorites, including “Blank Space,” “Love Story” and “The Fate of Ophelia.”

Since marrying Chiefs star Kelce in a lavish New York City ceremony this summer, Swift has continued to attend his games at Arrowhead Stadium whenever her schedule allows.

Swifties regularly celebrate seeing the pop superstar in the stands, but her frequent appearances have also frustrated some NFL viewers who believe broadcasts focus too heavily on her whenever she attends a game.

As criticism over the televised attention has grown, former Dallas Cowboys great Emmitt Smith has defended Swift, arguing that she is simply showing up as a supportive wife.

In an interview with Variety, Smith said: “Why would it be a controversial matter? She’s there to support her husband and she doesn’t care about all this other stuff, but the networks do. The networks are exposing everything because of who she is.”

“She’s not looking for the damn camera! She’s trying to be Taylor Swift, wife to Travis Kelce, and enjoy life. She’s not saying, ‘Put me on camera! I’m here!’”

“Most stars aren’t even like that. The media needs something to talk about, and this is fresh and new. She’s a big star. Do I like it? No. Can I do anything about it? No. Can she do anything about it? No.”

‘The only thing she can do is not show up at the games, and who wants to do that? She’s just trying to be herself. That’s what losing your anonymity truly means – people follow you.’

Last month, Swift left social media divided after she was seen pointing at her wedding ring as she celebrated Kelce’s touchdown against the Indianapolis Colts.

‘That’s my husband!’ screamed the 36-year-old, who was at Arrowhead Stadium alongside her parents, Scott and Andrea Swift, and her mother-in-law Donna Kelce.

Most fans were full of praise for the pop superstar after showing her support with a passionate celebration, however, some were left unimpressed by the viral moment.
