President Donald Trump launched a rare public attack on Fox News after the network failed to broadcast coverage of his rally in Ohio, despite its strong support among MAGA voters.
Trump, 80, criticized Fox in a Sunday morning post on Truth Social, complaining that the network had largely ignored his event in Vandalia as he works to energize his supporters ahead of the midterm elections.
“Sad to see that Fox & Friends (Sunday) is not covering our packed house and incredibly enthusiastic (beyond!) Rally that took place in Ohio last night, or the ones in Alabama, Texas, or Oklahoma over the past two days,” the president wrote.
Trump’s appearance came nearly a month before the November 3 midterm elections.
The Ohio rally was intended to bolster Senator Jon Husted’s reelection campaign and support Republican gubernatorial nominee Vivek Ramaswamy, who are facing Democrats Sherrod Brown and Amy Acton.
Trump accused Fox News of deliberately choosing not to televise the event, while noting that other media outlets had carried reports about the rally.
“Our people want to see our Rallies, and reports on our Rallies, on FoxNews, or they will very quickly stop watching (like I am doing right now!),” Trump said.
“Fox spends more time talking to Communists, Socialists, and Dumocrats, often without rebuttal, and MAGA is not, to put it mildly, happy.”

He also singled out Jessica Tarlov, a Fox News panelist and co-host of the network’s program The Five.
“We don’t like stupid Jessica Tarlov, and all of the others, that are forced down MAGA’S throats,” Trump wrote. “These Rallies are the hottest things out there, tremendous love in those sold out arenas, and nothing shows up on Fox!”
Trump’s criticism extended to Fox’s decision to fire Maria Bartiromo.

“Who makes these decisions at FoxNews? Probably the same loser that fired the great Maria Bartiromo because she complained about not being allowed to cover ‘TRUMP,’” the president wrote.
Bartiromo was dismissed in early September after allegedly revealing that her bosses had instructed her not to report on Trump’s July speech about election fraud.
“She’ll end up bigger and better than ever – watch! Cover our ‘happenings,’ and not the opposition to Greatness for America, or FoxNews will soon have the ratings of FAKE NEWS CNN or MSNOW (MSDNC),” Trump added.
“Remember, Fox tried this act once before, and almost went out of business (and always right before an election!). That can happen again!”
Several hours later, however, Trump shared graphics and a Fox News segment focusing on his administration’s efforts to crack down on alleged fraud involving Obamacare.

The lengthy rant came nearly a month before the November 3 midterms, where republicans are expected to struggle
The president has routinely taken shots at CNN and MSNOW and did so again at his Ohio rally.
He took particular aim at CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins: ‘She’s such an unhappy person. Young, nice person but she never smiles. She’s a very unhappy person.’
Trump is embarking on what he says will be a 32-day blitz ahead of the November 3 elections, with stops in Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama and Ohio.
Husted, who was appointed to fill the Senate vacancy left by now-Vice President JD Vance, is running to win the seat outright against former three-term Senator Sherrod Brown.
Ohio is among several key races as Republicans and Democrats battle for control of the Senate.
